This was THE BEST surgery I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient at. Since Aspiro took over I am devastated that the only decent place in Corby is now just as horrendous as the rest. I used to be able to call and speak to a friendly, well informed receptionist, anytime. While not guaranteed an appointment same day, they always went above and beyond to make sure you got an appointment in good time and were sign posted to any other services that you needed. The Dr's Kumar were compassionate, friendly, amazing doctors who only had the best doctors and nurses working for them. Dr.M.Kumar even called me, off her own back, randomly every few weeks, after a mental health crisis, just to check in and make sure I was OK! When do you hear about that sort of thing now days? Never.
Now If I see the same doctor twice in a row I am gob smacked. If I am not 100th in the queue when I call...miracles! This place has become a carbon copy of the failing surgeries in Corby that everyone complains about. If this is what our NHS is to become I have no hope for the health of this country. I wish to all that is holy that I had magical powers to grant the Dr's Kumar another 100 years on life so they didn't have to retire. Selfish I know but I have never been so neglected by the health care system as I have been since this change occurred.

It's a doctors surgery where you really struggle to see a doctor , no interest in there patients , ive been a patient here for 50 years and since Aspiro took over it is impossible to get an appointment , i actually believe the are no doctors working here , absolutely awful service with no compassion for patients with serious illness

I have been waiting for my prescription review to be signed by the doctor as I get the repeat order sent to me via the mail.
I have been without my medication for over a week now.
The response from the receptionist
When I said that I was ready to slit my wrists was "Well it's up to you if you want too"...
I hope that my call was Recorded as I am Definitely Not Happy with her attitude..
What is going on with people in this place..

Using my sons Google to post this review but the gynaecologist saved my daughters life and got her cancer out in a few days. Most caring, professional and skilled doctors in town. Couldn't be more thankful to everyone. Even the receptionist are lovely

I can only comment on the recently retired Dr and general surgery in Weldon. THE worst NHS doctor I have ever experienced. I have two life-long medical conditions and he REFUSED to put me on repeat prescription. Also told me I could double up on an immune system medication…result? I passed out in B&Q! Ignorant staff and not a sniff of a computer! I’ve now changed practices and they even buggered up moving all my records across. The worst thing I did see was an elderly couple being given injections in the WAITING AREA of Weldon surgery! This was reported to NHS and it did generate a ‘response’ from surgery…if you can call it that because it focused on surgery standards. What standards?! Awful, awful, awful…

Alot of practices are being dragged through the mud just now, I think I have been extremely lucky with the staff at Studfall partnership, always polite, kind and compassionate.
Have done all they can to get me or my children seen in a genuine emergency.
I have been a patient here since I was a child and will continue to be one for a very long time.

We'll never had a problem and always found the service excellent. Unfortunately when I went to renew my prescription on line I encountered a brand new website. I now have to take I.D. to the doctor's and get registered on the new site, I guess it was just too easy the old way! Get the feeling this is going to be a pain in the .......
