Came in for a quiet pint on a Tuesday and a catchup with a friend and there was a quiz occupying much of the bar space. The quiz was ran by two men who could barely read the questions. Clearly this quiz was ran for regulars but it made our conversation difficult to have because of the volume and it made service slow due to the business of the establishment.
Staff were polite but would not recommend going in on a Tuesday night unless you want to be pressured in to joining a quiz that is very Unprofessionally done

Sweet little pub to visit every now and again nice for people who live in Etwall very nice outside area to sit out side in the summer and football plays in the background in side it’s very nice

My first ever visit to the Spread Eagle. Never had any food but the draught Bass was first class! Service was exemplary. We sat outside in beautiful sunshine. An excellent pub! Highly recommended! Definitely will be back to sample the food menu.
