I ADORE The Shed. Danielle creates the most welcoming atmosphere, she is so kind and attentive. I happened to stumble upon this little gem and I make a weekly visit now on my days off. I recently joined the Book Club which takes place there through Wandering with Words and have met some lovely people as a result. It’s the place to be!

Location in a picturesque area & parking is limited but many clients are walkers or cyclists. Ample tables & seating especially outdoors with individual covered booths spread around. Reasonable choice of toasties & drinks (hot & cold). Clean toilets.

Called in for coffee , first time visiting but will definitely be back . Lovely and clean, great space to eat/ drink in the garden area so fabulous if you are bringing a dog with you as very dog friendly
The lady who took our order ,who I presume was the owner, was such a breath of fresh air , very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . The coffee was great , next time I will be ordering food , and some doggy treats.

This is our favourite little cafe. The staff are delightful and the atmosphere surrounded by horses and countryside is lovely. Added bonus of dogs being made welcome. A great addition to the area.

My cycling friends and I are always on the lookout for new cafe stops, so after my ride around Daresbury, I decided to pay an unplanned cafe stop at The Shed.
A plus for cyclists is that the stone chipping driveway has some sort of inserts in it, making it easy to cycle on with a road bike.
The cafe is very clean and tidy with very friendly service.
There is plenty of seating inside and plenty of bench tables spread about in their large grassed area.
You can sign up for a loyalty scheme to get a free drink after purchasing a number of drinks.
As this wasn't a planned cafe stop, I had already eaten while cycling, so I just ordered a large americano (£3.20). A nice coffee that was brought to me at my table outside.
The sandwiches, cakes, etc, looked very fresh. I will try them next time I visit.
For the dog walkers, there are a couple of drinks bowls just by the entrance to the cafe.
Just before I left, I visited the bathroom. The cleanest bathroom I have ever been to at a cafe. So, much so, I have attached a picture to the review.
My only area for improvement would be paying a little more attention to clearing the outside tables. If you visit and sit outside, why not help the cafe and return you used cups, etc.
