I’d give more than five stars if I could!
Royal Well Surgery is simply outstanding. Everyone there is helpful, professional, and genuinely caring. I’m especially grateful to Dr Crouchman for his ongoing care — I don’t say this lightly, but without his support, I truly don’t know what I would have done at times.

There are never any delays when calling the practice, and the administrative staff are fantastic. You really get the sense that the whole team works seamlessly together to treat patients as individuals, and everything runs like a well-oiled machine.

The medical staff each bring their own areas of expertise, which means second opinions and specialist advice are readily available — it’s a truly responsive and patient-focused service. The surgery itself is clean, calm, and well organised.

I’ve never been someone who enjoyed visiting the doctor, but now it’s always a positive experience. And of course, the lovely Sheena on Reception deserves a special mention — always smiling, always helpful, no matter what.

My family often say they wish they had a practice like this where they live — Royal Well is a real gem.

I would be dead without these people doing what they do. I'm not going to say its perfect, because nothing is. But, considering the world they have to work in, and the sheer amount of humans they have to care for, I think they do a brilliant job. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Another great experience at the Royal Well Surgery! I called at at 09.34am to ask if I could get a call back for my husband and 10 minutes later we got a call with a doctor. Efficient service!

I was under this practice for around a year before switching to a much better practice in the same building.
It was impossible to get an appointment here, the reception staff were extremely rude, and there was no follow-up for any matters discussed. They certainly do not follow any best practice for patient care.

I had to write to say thank you for the skilful and completely professional treatment I received today from Sister Lisa Staley at Royal Well. A covid booster jab that I did not feel at all. In fact, I'd also like to say (again) that in my view and experience this practice has got it right. Reception staff, doctors, nurses ... have all given me first class care and attention in a timely manner, and continue to do so. Thank you Royal Well.

Constantly cancelled doctor’s and blood test appointments for both myself and husband. New appointments not forthcoming and never fitted in but just told you are joining back of the queue !! This is not the doctors’ or nurses fault but the appalling admin in place. The reception manager shouts over you and nothing is ever their fault but yours !!

We do like Royal Well surgery! Our concerns regarding health is always considered. Prescriptions approved on time, all queries answered pretty quickly, honestly never had to chase. Most of the time we see Dr. Morgan and he always been very helpful, understanding and supportive.
