I live in market Weighton but use The Ridings surgery group after having problems at the local surgery.The reception staff, the nurses, the doctors etc are all very helpful, efficient and professional.If you are due an update injection etc, they phone or text you to make an appointment for said They make you feel valued.

Came to the surgery from another area with medicines from hospital specialists prescribed years ago, and a GP thinks they know best and removed them! Pitiful attitude by the gp there and no way to contact them, so went to 111 who agreed no gp should change or stop medicine from a hospital specialist!

Looking at the website I noticed reviews and checked them. I was surprised at some comments as I have always found the receptionists very helpful and polite. My husband and I have no complaints about the doctors or nurses either. The difficulties of actually getting to see a doctor, because of the Covid situation at the moment, I hope will resolved itself in time. When we have spoken to doctors on the phone, we have not felt rushed at all.

Its important for me to make a special mention to Dr Christopher Nwoko, in May 2023 he referred me to hospital emergency which played a massive part in saving my life.
I had struggled to get diagnosis by others (not this practice). He listened to me and I will forever be thankful that he pushed for a place in the York emergency care department.

id like to thank the receptionists and great nurse ashley at holme upon spalding moor surgery for all there help and patience dealing with me, they always go above and beyond to try fit me in were necessary or helping me out with the app your all brilliant thank you thought id let you know , people good to criticise when thing go wrong i think praise were credits due ,thank you all again

Receptionists are witches, the doctors are all lovely. I'm looking into registering with another practice even though it will mean driving. Sick of their nasty unhelpful attitudes.

July 2023. Credit where credit Is due, the staff at Holme on spalding Moor are lovely, I couldn't wish for better doctors.

Helpful friendly receptionists who never fail to help. Excellent Drs who take their time to discuss any health issues, whether in person or over the phone. So grateful for these professionals.
