I had a magical time on a weekend retreat at The Quaives. I found Clare's energy beautiful open heartfelt and genuine. It was the perfect break to relax, recharge and connect with others and with myself deeply. Everything felt so comforting, the relaxing grounds in nature with freedom to be alone or with others. The yoga, rituals, relaxation, sound and ceremonies so skilled and supportive to help me feel at ease and cared for. The food was an absolute delight, healthy, delicious and to see much of it growing in the stunning veg patch was fantastic.
I treasure my time spent at The Quaives

Quaives is a stunning building in an idyllic location. The guest accommodation around the courtyard is beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. The food is out of this world! Vegetarian menu is the best I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely amazing! A few years back I experienced the Yoga Shala which is an amazing space, but the equipment needs to be cleaned between uses (you can’t relax on a mat or bolster that still smells of an earlier occupant! Provision of cleaning spray to be used by users would be a good move. Quaives undoubtedly has some beautiful features but sadly, the grounds are becoming neglected & shabby. Gardens are neglected & weeds are taking over and the lawns are rough, uneven and tricky to walk on. Remote seats are rickety & dirty. The Pavilion has dodgy steps and the hot tub cover is shabby. This is a gem but c’mon guys, it needs some TLC

Thank you so much to Clare and the team at The Quaives for a fantastic retreat. It was my second time attending and I really enjoyed the Be Radiant Retreat. It was amazing to be away from day to day life, immersed in the countryside and with a lovely bunch of fellow yogis. The morning meditation walking the grounds on the Saturday was very moving and all of the yoga classes and exercises were well thought out and organised. The food was so delicious and the grounds were very peaceful. I loved sitting in the hot tub in the free time and enjoyed the wild swimming in the lake! Putting our wellbeing first is so important and the Be Radiant retreat really did do exactly this! I can't wait to return again hopefully soon. Thank you so much Clare, you are a star and a fantastic host!

The wonderful team at Quaives hosted our wedding breakfast in June. The location and quality of the food was outstanding and every single guest at the wedding has told me they have never tasted olives and oysters that good! We adored our day and it was beyond perfect at this countryside retreat. We felt very lucky to have our reception here. We loved how flexible and bespoke everything felt, but for us nothing was too fussy, which suited us perfectly. We wish we could do it all over again! Thank you so much.

I have been to a few retreats before, but this was by far my favourite. Everything was so well thought out and Clare and Sophia were very welcoming. They each had very different energies, which was lovely. The food was incredibly tasty, the surroundings are beautiful, and the mixture of yoga, meditation, free time, being in nature and learning through thought-provoking talks made it feel balanced and easier to integrate learning through experience. I have never been to a sisterhood gathering before, but it has allowed me to connect more to my spirituality and inner feminine, which I can now see I needed! I would love to come again. Thank you 🙂 x

I had the most amazing weekend yoga retreat at the Quaives hosted by the inspirational Clare. This was my first experience at a retreat and it surpassed my expectations. The food was phenomenal and Clare guided us through the yoga beautifully. I felt completely restored and empowered by the end - both mentally and physically.

I attended the summer solstice sisterhood gathering. The cottage I stayed in was very clean and beautifully furnished, so were the yoga studio and dining/lounge hall, you could really sense all the spaces were built with love and attention. Food was delicious and nutritious, it felt like such a treat to be fed three meals a day without lifting a finger or given a thought. All staffs, other attendees were extremely friendly and Clare worked tirelessly to offer many experiences and teachings. I’d really appreciated the women only aspect of the retreat, more often than not, personal stories shared in the group resonate with others because we’ve all been through it as women. Kundalini yoga was my favourite out of the whole weekend’s program. The retreat focused somewhat on unleashing feminine creativity/power, though it wasn’t something I was looking for, I did walk away from the retreat with a sense of inner space and calm, which was exactly what I needed.
