Quite honestly feels like the only practice left in edinburgh that’s good, having moved around and used several practices im not sure what’s going on with dental services recently, pentlands medical centre is consistently good though. Appreciated greatly.

They have massively improved since the last 6 years. I’m changing my 1 star score to 4 stars now. We used to be very disappointed with the service here. Hardly anyone picked up the phone. Now, they announce what number you’re in the queue on the phone. Their website has greatly improved - good usability. I was able to fill in a form for repeat prescription and submit it in less than 1 min, it was easy. Good user experience! Well done Pentlands Medical Centre team! 🙂

Called up the practise on the last Wednesday to book an appointment, which was arranged for the 12th (today) at 9:20. I had confirmed the date and time with the person on the phone before ending the call, but when I went in half an hour before my appointment, it wasn't in the logs and had to find out from the reception that is was booked for that Thursday instead of Friday. I went home after being told I had missed the appointment and told my partner, who was in the room when I was making the appointment and confirmed that the appointment was agreed for Friday, not Thursday.
This is the first appointment I have made with the centre since switching to it after moving house, and this experience does not give me a lot of hope for any future visits.

Have always had great experiences with this practice - kind and knowledgeable doctors, very helpful and I've never had a problem getting an appointment when needed. Getting appointments is difficult in all surgeries just now and that's the government's fault, not the practices. Thank you so much to everyone and well done for all your hard work!

Excellent experience with minor surgery being carried out by Dr. Ruwan and Nurse Margaret. Made to feel really relaxed and never felt a thing!

A great practice for a family. Friendly staff, nurses, doctors, mid-wives and health visitors. Every visit, whether for myself, or for one of our children, we leave with a positive feeling that we are being well looked after. Highly recommend.
