I was referred here for emergency dental treatment following a wisdom tooth extraction. I felt listened to, taken seriously and best of all, I left pain free for the first time in a week! I thought it might be a rush job as it was an emergency appointment but it really wasn't and I am so grateful to the staff who work at the weekend to provide this service.

After paying £198 for an emergency appointment which lasted 10 mins. To be referred else where. Was told to come straight back if any swelling or infection. So tried to go back today but the person I saw finishes at 1pm and wasn’t prepared to see me as she needed to get off. If I wanted to see someone else in the same surgery I would have had to pay again! They rang back and said I should go straight to the hospital instead of coming to see them…….. customer after care 0% took £198 very easily then sorry dentist needs to get off

Absolutely great service and very professional. I was seen quickly and received great treatment. The treatment was tailored to me and a clear plan was made for my dental future. Wonderful receptionists and kind staff. Highly recommended for NHS and Private. very clean and felt safe and cared for. Keep up the good work !!!

Came here for an emergency appointment after my tooth cracking and being in absolute agony on one side of my face. My dentist was Tez and her assistant Rhiannon (apologies if spelt incorrectly!). They were lovely, very friendly and made me feel at ease throughout the whole tooth extraction - in which I was very nervous! Would highly recommend this dentist if you need something done.

I have to confess I have neglected my teeth over the last years and allowed my NHS treatment to lapse. Needing treatment I made an appointment at The Oaks. I saw Susie. and being nervous and apprehensive she immediately put me at ease. Needing a considerable amount of treatment each visit was bearable thanks to her calm,gentle and friendly patient relationship. Thank you Susie. Update 16/05/2025.
Current dentist is brilliant- Confident, knowledgeable and great communication.
Reception friendly and efficient.
Definitely recommend.
Unfortunately practice has gone down hill recently.
Had three sub standard treatments recently off the same dentist. Called up to make an appointment to rectify latest issue and requested to see a different dentist. I was told that the same dentist had to fix the issue! I said I had lost faith in current dentist, receptionist hung up on me.

Since Rodericks took over, the prices have gone sky high. It is concerning as they bought another practice in the same town. Over 20% increase in check up costs since last year. I wish we all got 20% pay rises. A check up is now £72. I'll check this review in a year and see how much it is then. I paid £116 for a silver filling last summer and on the website this is now £149. White fillings cost even more. My wife had a private white filling in 2019 costing around £70. No chance of that now.
