The Millings Care Home

My Mother-In-Law has been a resident for just over a year and I have to say that the care and services provided by The Millings continues to be of the highest standard. All the staff I have met have been caring, helpful and attentive and always make me feel welcome, as have the friendly residents! There is always someone around and plenty of activities going on. It's also great to be able to keep up to date with all the fun the residents are having via the frequent updates on the Whatsapp (for family & friends). My Mother-in-Law loves the social aspect, superb ambience and surroundings. Full marks from me!

My Dad stayed in The Millings for a 10 day Respite Care whilst we went on holiday. From the very start we were amazed with the place. The staff were all fantastic and passionate about giving the highest standard. The garden was beautiful and attended by the guests all the time. I’d give this a 5 star and my Dad would love to come back for a second visit soon.

From the day Dad moved into The Millings he was made to feel so welcome and comfortable. The staff are so very kind and caring to all his needs and he has settled in very well. He enjoys his meals and the company of the other residents, and there are lots of activities if he wants to join in with too. The Millings is a wonderful care home with dedicated staff that really do care, we couldn't be happier that Dad is so well looked after. Thank you all.

After an initial stay in January this year, my Mum decided she wanted to move to the Millings permanently in September. She has been very comfortable, safe and happy. The staff are very conscientious and there are lots of activities for her to join in if she wants to - equally she's very happy enjoying some quiet time in her room. Her general health has been better and despite memory problems she has been much more settled and now calls it home!

My relative has been a resident at The Millings for many years and during all this time the care she has received has been wonderful. She is now very frail and no longer joins in with many of the varied activities that are on offer but she is happy and contented. The staff are all superb and we are confident that she is receiving the best of care.

All the staff have been very welcoming to my stepfather since he moved in. They have made sure his specific needs have been taken care of and made tweaks to ensure he is safe and comfortable in this new environment at a time when he was dealing with alot of new issues all happening at once. Thank you to everyone for all you have done and continue to do to look after him and for your regular contact and updates.

Long story short- couldn’t find better for my relative - looked everywhere and this is the best place. Super super happy- couldn’t recommend higher if you looking for care for someone important to you.
