Outstanding GP practice in St Albans!

You all deserve a five star rating. I can’t fault this GP practice at all the care and support they provide for their patients is outstanding I can definitely say that from my own experience dealing with such complex health issues. From such easy outstanding online service to use to wonderful receptionist and such dedicated nurses and doctors who always put the patients first.

I would like to say a special thank you to Dr Panja who took such good care of me over the years from giving me advice and deal with complex situations you truly are amazing doctor and maltings is so lucky to have you. Thank you to you all I was so lucky to be a patient at maltings will definitely miss the outstanding service.

I would definitely recommend this GP practice to new patients you’ll be well looked after. Thank you again

New to the area . After having many years of not so good doctor surgery. I had a fantastic experience at the surgery the first time I used the service it was fantastic. The response was very quick and within the hour . Wow . Well done . The lady that was working answering calls , credit to the team overall was very pleased. Other nhs service should learn from this surgery.

I don’t often feel compelled to give a review, but other GPs can learn from an outstanding practice that is Maltings Surgery. Requests for appointments are answered almost immediately using their online system with in person or calls mostly done same day. Whilst my relatives struggle to even get an appointment or even speak to someone in their locale, maltings surgery manage to triage requests so efficiently. Please keep up the fantastic work!!

Very much improved service since three years ago when I would have given 2 stars. In those bad old days there was typically a 2 week wait (or all day in the waiting room) for appointments.
This time I filled in the online request (simple to use) and got a call back from an especially knowledgeable and helpful doctor within an hour, a relaxed but thorough screening chat, and the referral I needed in 48 hours.

I think the new booking system works really well (at least for those with access to a computer). I like the fact that you can describe the issues before the consultation so the GP is pre-prepared. The GP I saw today was excellent. Clear, concise, thorough, pleasant and explained everything fully

I hear many friends say they can never get a GP appt, they never get call backs etc and I feel extremely lucky that I don’t have this experience. I can always get appointments, the nurses and doctors are amazing, the support staff always helpful and I always get a response with only admin and medical requests. This is an extremely well run surgery. Thank you!
