A terrible surgery. I have no idea how I've remained with this surgery. The staff are not helpful. My experiences with this surgery have been generally disappointing. I would not advise anyone to use this place. Look around for somewhere with better reviews. I've have some pleasant interactions with a few of the GPs over the years. However I'd sooner never see a Dr again rather that go to this place again.
Out of respect for the individuals privacy I won't name anyone specifically. However if respect is something you'd like to have shown to you then you won't find it at The Lennard Surgery.

Not worthy of 1 star. Appalling surgery!! My father is now suffering in hospital after the incompetence of this surgery - saw a GP after fighting to get an appointment (my mother had to write a letter of complaint!!), the GP didn’t even examine my father at his appointment! An elderly man with serious health issues should have had his vitals checked.

Impossible to get an appointment even for the weeks after
If you are working and start at 8am you can’t be calling the GP practice at 8.30am daily to find an appointment. You need to change your system

Never had an issue with the surgery in 8 years. Always been able to get appointments when needed for myself and my children. I am respectful to the information the staff give me about what I can do in the mean time between appointments as the fact they are either booked or my issue can be wait is not their fault as much as it’s mine. I always see my own doctor and have had good experiences with different members of staff for a collection of issues over the years.

I can only assume that the receptionists here have ran out of compassion and empathy, cause I can’t think of any other reason why a human being working in healthcare would be so blunt and rude down the phone to somebody who is suffering and calling to get help for something extremely uncomfortable and painful.

I understand the system, if you’re fully booked you’re fully booked. But I got the distinct impression the reception took great pleasure in telling me I’d have to go another 24 hours in pain until the phone lines open again at 8:30 tomorrow.

So if anyone from the surgery cares to read patient reviews, I’d suggest some further training to the receptionists on how to speak to people that are suffering and calling in for help. I am absolutely disgusted at this kind of mentality from a doctors surgery.

Absolutely dreadful to say the least, the receptionists there think their doctors, telling people to take their child to a pharmacist, the pharmacist actually had a conversation with me saying that this is happening all the time. They are not equipped to deal with half the things the receptionist says they can deal with. The receptionists are not doctors!! I have made a complaint about this before because I am sick to death with this happening, they’re also incredibly rude and abrupt. The receptionists at the Lennard do not talk to a doctor after you’ve told them the problem, before dishing out their own advice. It’s ludicrous! So so angry. Something really bad will happen one day and the receptionist WILL be held liable. They are an absolute disgrace to say the least.

Not got a bad word to say about this surgery, they have been quick and responsive to all of my issues, and all the doctors and nurses I have spoken to were brilliant.

This surgery is not what it was. Communication with reception team, practice manager and GP very disappointing. No understanding or compassion. I would not recommend this surgery.
