Blood test appointments are available the quickest at this place. I booked an appointment yesterday, attended today. Car parking on St. Ann's Road is payable by using RingGo. The main reception area is nice and spacious, but the young man at the reception for blood tests isn't professional at all. He is always using his mobile phone. At my appointment time, this young man came out, gathered everyone waiting for blood tests, and told us to follow him. We followed him upstairs, through a corridor, into the blood test room. Here, they don't call you according to your appointment time. But we managed to queue in the order we attended. The ladies taking blood samples aren't friendly. I have been to other clinics for blood tests and found this place to be the worst. The two stars are for quick appointments and for getting seen on time.

If I could give this surgery 000000 I would the service is absolutely disgusting. For the last 3 weeks I have tried to get an appointment calling at 7.59am using 2 mobile phones only for the line to be open at 8 stating they cannot take the call due to the high volume of callers. This place has gone to the dogs. I have been with St Anne’s Road surgery for 54 years they have moved 3 times within that period and I can honestly say this is the worst service ever. I have had to resort to changing my GP now as I had no choice.
It’s such a shake that this service has run into the ground. The final straw was I was caller number 9 for 25 minutes how is that even possible. To be honest they should just shut the whole place down.

This used to be a GP surgery that actually cared about their patients. Many time i have been really sick and gone there for asssistance. They would tell me to leave the GP and go home, to phone the same GP i was in, to try and book an appointment for the next day! It happenend so many times that if i get sick, I go to A&E. This GP should be investigated to its core. Even the comments are not good from many other people that have been through it with them. They are rude and lazy working, clearly do not care about the people they are there to help. Instead they make you feel you have done wrong by being sick. Very Shameful.
If i could have given no stars at all, I would have.

Would give it 0 stars if I could.

I had to unfortunately go to the late GP - it was terrible. The doctor first asked me about my conditions and then when I gave her more details she was like I didn't ask you for more. Then when it was ending I told her about something in context & she started blaming me for not fully telling her my past conditions. Terrible experience, I felt incredibly unsafe and the doctor was straight up hostile towards me.

I had to go through this while in pain and their only advice to me was to take paracetamol & wait for things to get worse so I can go to the A&E. Terrible.

Didn’t know where to go when went in for blood test. Found counter where blood test receptionist waved me to come over while still talking on the phone, took my forms, told me to sit and wait but otherwise ignored me. 40 minutes after my appointment was due I went back to the desk - could see they were busy and had already heard them apologising to other people so didn’t want to add to their stress. The same worker I originally spoke to laughed at me, asked me why I hadn’t come and said something, walked me over to a group of patients, laughed at me again and asked me in front of the other patients why I hadn’t come over. When I tried to explain worker just kept laughing and grinning at me. Avoid!

Miserable Health Centre
Calling it ‘Healthy Living Centre’ must contravene the ‘trade’s description act’.
After being ignored at the blood test reception (I use the word ‘reception’ loosely) for several minutes, the woman finally acknowledged me. I had interrupted her mobile phone browsing session‼️She shoved me a piece of paper and told me to ‘ring this number to make your appointment’. I made the appointment and returned her the number and said I had booked the appointment. She just gave me a withering look as apparently I had interrupted her mobile phone browsing again. I’m very glad I’m not an actual patient of this clinic.

Just called to book an appointment. The person didn't want to give me the address where to go, just said "the same as last time as I can see you went already". It was more than a year ago and I can't remember the address of everywhere I went in the past! I kindly asked if she could give it to me again for this time were were booking and she just hang up in the middle of my sentence!! Also seemed annoyed that I called to book an appointment and made a comment on the fact that I make them busy instead of booking online. How could I know?
Please, even if you are busy, be nice with people who simply call to book an appointments, don't make them feel like they annoy you and do the minimum which is to share the postal address!!

I want to leave a very positive review for the young man who helped me at the blood test reception desk this afternoon. In a moment of personal crisis, I felt truly listened to and supported. His kindness and attention made such a difference. People like him are truly angels on earth. The nurse who took my blood was absolutely professional as well .100% recommend

When I walked in to inquire about my appointment, one of the receptionists told me to go to the screen and type my information there, so I did. It turned out that the screen didn't work so I went back to the reception and told her and she said "You didn't even do it" very nastily. Yeah, probably not going back there. There was no reason to be snide, I was literally being polite.

Visited this so-called “healthy living centre” recently and left feeling more stressed than when I arrived.the healthiest thing about the place was the apple in my stomach that had for breakfast. The reception staff were basically just there in body only — no greetings, no offers to help, just blank stares. Honestly, they might as well have been cardboard cut-outs.

The place itself was far from clean. I tried five different hand sanitiser stations and not one of them had any sanitiser in them. For a place that’s supposedly about health and well-being, that’s not just ironic — it’s downright unhygienic.

When I asked for some guidance (first time visiting), the staff looked annoyed to be spoken to and gave vague, unhelpful responses. No direction, no explanation — just a lot of mumbling and sighing like I was a nuisance for asking. Whole
Place is neglected, feel like I’m on set for the walking dead

Thank you Nurse Dolores for being so thorough and attentive during my Asthma review and also for emailing your colleague for me. Thank you once AGAIN to Charly for providing me with the appropriate travel prescription documents in the form of a TOKEN PRESCRIPTION (which is something they DO provide regardless of what certain people at reception may say)
5 stars for Charly and Dolores.

I have been having blood tests at the laurels for years and they have always been reassuring and patient especially since I have a fear of injections. Absolutely wonderful staff and painless experience. I really recommend them. Thank you
