Good hotel but not worth the money. I’ve stayed in expensive hotels like this many times and whilst it’s a nice hotel, in my opinion it’s not worth the price tag. There were nice touches but for the price, the rooms felt very clinical, had the standard hotel fire doors, lacked personality, and the duvets and pillows were cheap and didn’t ooze the luxury you expect. The service at breakfast was incredibly slow and it took 15 mins before someone came over to take our coffee orders. The orange juice wasn’t fresh, which I very much would expect from a luxury hotel, and my breakfast took 20 mins to come and when it did was quite nice, but the eggs and hash browns were overcooked and there was a pitiful amount of beans. The rooms on the ground floor have seating directly outside where people are drinking in the courtyard, and the swimming pool is small and you have to book it for solo use so the idea of it being a 'spa' isn't quite right. Nice hotel, if it had been half the price I would’ve been ok paying, but for the price tag I would stay somewhere else.

I stayed two nights at this hotel with my sister for a relaxing midweek break. The hotel is very understated in a boutique style. We had a twin room overlooking the courtyard. The beds were very comfy and the room was cosy. The bathroom was a little on the small side but was adequate. We were on the DBB rate. The food was amazing on both nights and we were lucky that they changed the menu on our second night. Although there is a lot to choose from if it had not been. The breakfast was good also and they cooked the eggs to your order, even if it is not stated on the menu. The 30 minute spa slots were such a good idea - make sure you book ahead. What stood out for us was the staff and the lovely service nothing was too much of a problem. From the bartenders to the serving staff in the restaurant everyone was very pleasant and friendly. Peter at Front of House/Reception was outstanding, every little request we had he attended to with a smile and enthusiam. He even went out of his way to buy some peanut butter for our breakfast the next morning as the kitchen did not have any!!! Thank you so much for making our stay 5 star would definitley recommend this hotel and would come back.

We enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at this delightful, luxury, boutique style hotel near the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Will definitely return and cannot recommend it highly enough. Excellent service, lovely Big Plus room, delicious food and enjoyed the spa. Spotlessly clean and very well run.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and "quirky" decor. Peter the GM couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and he has trained his team to exceptional standards in all departments. The staff were just so friendly and helpful! The menu and food standards were out of this world! Special mention for Will and Oli the chefs and Gaia the friendliest waitress out there!

Lovely Hotel and staff in a beautiful location. Lacked a few basics like a shower hat in the bathroom. Comfortable beds and fantastic breakfast. BUT the dining experience in the evening let the whole place down. I am vegetarian and was very surprised at the total lack of food on offer. To say it was poor was an understatement. Flavourless, lacked any imagination, poor ingredients. It felt like the chef could not be bothered. Such a shame.

Really excellent chef, food was wonderful. Gin and tonic was so good. Best I have ever had. Nice it’s dog friendly but no real pavements to walk our dog. Lovely seating area outside when weather is good. An evening outside under the stars will be nice.||Liked all the staff, so friendly.

Lovely hotel, very clean and well looked after. Staff very helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast (which was included) was really good. The exclusive use of the pool was fantastic, we weren't sure the 30 minute slot would feel enough... But it was! We were also able to book extra slots throughout our stay. A really nice hotel which has a lovely relaxed feel and which made it great for us as a family with a child. We will definitely be making a return visit.

From the moment we arrived, this spa hotel exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of luxury and laid-back comfort, with slightly boho décor that creates a true escape from the everyday. Every inch of the hotel is immaculate, and the attention to detail is second to none.||The service? Simply next level. The team is warm, welcoming, and genuinely go out of their way to make your stay unforgettable, nothing is ever too much trouble - and we did rather test that with a couple of accidental breakages and spillages - mortified!!😬🙈. The unstuffy vibe of the restaurant belies the fine dining being created in the kitchen - absolutely superb! Every meal was a delight, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.||We loved it so much that we booked our next stay as we were checking out! If you're looking for a place to truly relax and be pampered, this is it. Highly recommended! 👏✨
