I had my procedure here about two and a half months ago and I felt very safe, secure and valued all the way through the process. I still do to this day if I ever have questions or send my progress updates. I had contacted a few clinics when I decided I wanted a transplant in 2023, and decided on this one because they were the most responsive and informative right from the initial point of contact. Before I even set foot in the clinic I knew exactly was was required of me before, during and especially after the procedure.

When I arrived at the clinic I was told exactly what would happen throughout the day and there were no surprises. The clinic was cosy and clean, and the team were warm and friendly. They clearly enjoyed the work they did, which eased my nerves as we chatted most of the way through each stage of the procedure. I was quite inquisitive and the surgeons and technicians were happy to explain what they were doing and why. Between each stage you are allowed to rest in the patient pod which is full of drinks and snacks and comfy seating. I felt like all the focus was on me as there is only one hair procedure happening at a time.

Once the procedure was done I was given the aftercare information and a pack to take home which contains a months worth of medication, a saline spray and shampoo for your first wash. It includes a wall chart for the first week or two to ensure you can't go wrong and I personally took two full weeks off work to ensure I could rest and look after myself as much as possible. To me it seems like the first week or two after the procedure are the most important and I did not take anything for granted.

Two and a half months later, after going through the shedding phase (which can be a scary time!), I can see the transplanted hairs are beginning to emerge, and faster each day. I'm excited to see the results in a few more months to a year, and I'm very glad that I chose this clinic, so thank you!

These are my results after almost 4 years. Personally I haven’t found the companies after care the greatest as I had to request a follow up appointment myself without any contact for months. Haven’t been back since. When raising concerns about not much growth I was told to use minoxidil. When raising concerns about certain side effects I had with finasteride I was told to take the tablet every other day rather than once a day. Which I currently do but as I’m sure you can see my results aren’t great. I was then told the results might not necessarily be what I wanted because my
Hair is so fine and not very thick. All in all I regret getting it done and paying the money I did to be honest.

I cannot say enough about how great this team and my experience at this clinic was. From start to finish my whole experience was smooth and without stress. Even from my first call and video chat, they were very welcoming, explained clearly how the procedure would go and very helpful with any questions I had. Right from the start you can tell they are completely professional and the best at what they do. The team there was nothing but supportive and reassuring. They made me feel completely comfortable, even tho I was a bit nervous, I knew I was in good hands and the best place.They even got me breakfast due to the appointment starting early in the morning.
As for the results of the procedure, I am so happy with the progress of my hair so far. I can see so much growth from areas where there was none before, I'm over the moon. The aftercare and contact with the team is above any other, they send you off with all the information and aftercare to look after your hair/head after your op. The team are quick to reply over the phone/message with any queries I had. If anyone is thinking of having the op done I would not recommend anyone else, best team ever.

I didn’t have a great experience if I’m honest but I haven’t posted kneejerk reaction I waited for results as I’d been in touch and was told to wait.

I knew very early on that this had not been done perfectly. On the day of my transplant the dr barely operated on me and is mostly done by nurses, I don’t mind this however the nurse seemed to be struggling at times but the Dr was having a busy day and came in occasionally to get her back on track.

Then when it came to putting the grafts in there we’re two nurses actually putting in the hair grafts but one of them kept saying ‘make sure you don’t miss that bit’. The side which she kept referring too has grown back thin and just not great looking so as a result I’m now booking a separate procedure somewhere else to basically ‘fix’ what happened.

Update: I have been trying to get details they have on me to pass onto a new dr but they are not sending them or ignoring messages.

It's just over two years since my procedure at the hairdr.
My initial assessment was carried out with a video call with Somiya. This was a very friendly and courteous call and a quote was given for the cost.
On the day of the procedure I met Dr Arshad and he carried out another assessment and he explained that to achieve what I wanted, he believed I would need a further 1000 grafts.
He said he could go with the original assessment, but didn't believe it would achieve the required coverage.
I decided to go ahead with the extra grafts, as fortunately I could manage to pay the extra cost.
He was absolutely right and the result of my procedure is living proof. It was best to follow the advice and be happy with it, rather than regret it later.
Also from all the contact I have had with the hairdr and Somiya, whether through face to face contact or otherwise (you can message any time with any questions over Whatsapp), I have found them to be very friendly and professional and of the utmost integrity. It's really important that I can trust someone and have faith in what they tell me.
I was looked after very well and Dr Arshad and his staff were very friendly and I was comfortable in their company.
I am extremely happy with the way my hair looks now, its a huge transformation.
A colleague of mine had a procedure at a different clinic and wasn't completely satisfied with the result and after seeing mine, he contacted the hairdr and has had a further procedure with the hairdr. Before I had heard of the hairdr, I went for a consultation with another clinic, when I asked if the procedure would work, they shrugged and said "it might do." which left me feeling unsure about the whole thing. By comparison I found Dr. Arshad to be much more forthcoming and very honest and up front about expectations and he advised me to manage them. The results have exceeded my expectations. I am completely blown away and so glad I chose to go with this clinic. If you're considering anywhere else, forget it. This is the one.

Thank you to Sommiya, Dr Arshad and all the technicians for a very pleasant experience. I have been considering a hair transplant for some time and I was very impressed with how friendly, relaxed and professional everyone was at the clinic. They are knowledgable and approachable. I was given the contact details for their watsap group where the communication is fantastic always very prompt and helpful even late in the day.

On the day of the surgery I was made to feel very comfortable. You are the only patient on that day so the team are only focussed on you. The aftercare instructions are very thorough both in written form and videos. The clinic also request that you take daily pictures of the graft and donor areas to send for the first week, which further impressed me. Overall a very pleasant experience in beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend the hair clinic to anyone who is considering a hair transplant and wants that assurance of thorough aftercare.
