One of their drs told me I don't have ADHD because I'm not running around the room and jumping up and down, and another one told me that "tumeric can cure any disease" - enough said. There was a good female Dr there when I was registered at this surgery, but the two male doctors were ridiculous and I doubt they went to medical school.

What a turnaround!! The receptionist team at this surgery have been awful for years. Recently myself, my husband and my infant son have each needed medical input from the GP. We were dreading calling them, as we knew it was be impossible to get what we needed done. All I can say is it was great to be completely wrong this time! Each interaction was fantastic. To the point of being the best customer service we've ever had (customer service, at a GP!?!). It turns out they have changed a lot of their front of house personnel. It really shows, all I can say is thank you!! So happy to finally have an excellent GP surgery. In particular, thank you to the receptionist Riya, the medical secretariat, and to Dr Price.

I have been a patient for over twenty years and have no complaints at all. I have had several telephone consultations during the pandemic and the service has been thorough. My most recent appointment is a fantastic example. The GP that attended to me was empathetic, took the time to listen and was willing to answer my questions. It was terribly reassuring. Well done Globe Town!

I left this surgery 8 years ago because the office admin and reception staff were appalling. They were rude, never answered the phone and treated you with contempt when trying to get any basic help. I got transferred back this year after my new surgery sadly closed and the experience has been exactly the same. They insist we bring in consultants letters in person, even though I have been recovering from surgery and it's all in email form. They never answer the phone. They don't call back when they say they will. They don't provide the referral letters they claim they will send. They cancel repeat prescriptions I've had for years with no explanation. At a point where I was really unwell and desperately needed their support, I was made to feel like every request was an inconvenience. Even when I went private and they had to do the absolute bare minimum, they managed to get it wrong. How this surgery hasn't been closed down I do not know. I've given up trying and transferred surgeries now.

Terrible experience from day 1: Lack of professionalism of receptionists who more than once booked me for the wrong date appointments and were unable to provide accurate information when answering the phone (always inconsistent and confusing messages from one receptionist to another) 2. They took forever to share feedback on test/scan results even when urgent 3. They registered my newborn baby after a month despite several follow-ups (and they eventually did it with the wrong name!) 4. The practice rooms are narrow and far from being comfortable and clean 5. Staff is missing completely human touch and courtesy both over the phone and face to face.

The list could be longer than that, but I guess it is enough to say that today after 9 months of continuous dissatisfaction, I changed the GP.

In my experience, Globe Town Surgery has been excellent. From the receptionists to doctors, the staff is highly responsive. I often receive responses to queries within hours and callbacks from doctors far earlier than the typically ascribed multi-day waiting period. And, the doctors are thorough; they listen to, and provide detailed advice on any queries or concerns I raise. Overall, I am impressed by the quality of service provided by the practice and believe other user's ratings mischaracterise its caring, capable staff.

I am only giving 1 star because there isn't a no star option! Where do I start? I called to make an appointment and felt as if I had woken the reception staff up from her sleep. She sounded groggy and was very very quite, I had to keep asking her to speak up and she sounded annoyed and even kissed her teeth. The next available appointments were for 3 weeks time (again ridiculous). My child once swallowed some Olbas oil and I called the GP for advice as instructed on bottle, the reception staff said this wasn't urgent and I could make an appointment to see them in a weeks time, the bottle said it could be lethal so I asked to speak with the manager and she said it wasn't urgent enough for her to speak with her (ended up taking my child A&E and they were very annoyed with the surgery for not helping)! The main receptionist (white, big lady with dark under eye circles) is extremely rude aswell. Most of the doctors have not been of any use, except for Doctor Arnott she's very lovely and helpful. The surgery itself can make you more ill, it's dirty and looks horrible, definitely needs updating (staff included). If I could move back to my old GP I would, this is the worst I've ever come across.

Worst GP practice!

My 4 year old daughter, was neglected by the staff and doctors, who said we can only speak to a doctor by completing an econsult.

Even when I completed this online the day before, I was meant to get a call by 6.30pm, I called once in the morning and explained the seriousness of the situation but was told "wait, the doctor will call you before 6.30pm today" at 5.30pm I called the surgery and was told the Doctor will call the next day before 1pm!! Even after speaking to the receptionist that very morning and completing 2 econsults and after confirming that I will be called the same day, I was told "sorry, there is nothing we can do, the manager has gone home for the day"

Later after my daughter was taken into A&E and the doctor at A&E was shocked to see that the infection has worsened, and said my daughter must have been in a lot of pain, and YES she was, the anti biotics can only be prescribed by the GP/Doctor, my econsult even stated this!

Honestly don't have any idea on what the GP is for if they tell us to contact out of hours, they are so rude when you call, each receptionist telling you different things, and from experience even after holding on the phone for a long time to speak to the surgery, someone picks up and hangs up, straightaway, I know there must be a lot of people registered at this surgery that can relate to this.

The icing on the cake was, when the GP didn't even call the next day before 1pm, they sent me a text message, with no option to discuss the situation only to be told do another econsult, if my daughters situation gets worse.

Honestly anyone thinking to register at this practice think long and hard, consider these reviews and make a decision based on them.
