Awful rude receptions who wish to offer no help or support to give you the proper information. Why are receptionist NHS staff so rude all the time, on the phone and in person. Especially the reception staff at this GP, just sit there chatting away eating whilst you are sat waiting to speak to them and they don’t even acknowledged you are there and that they will be with you in a minute.

Update 2024. If i could give 10 stars i would. Went in this morning with a wound as pharmacy was still closed. I have had no appointment and just wanted to as for a bandage to take home. The receptionist booked me in with the health care assistant for a wound review on the spot. I did not even wait for five miniutes. Was called in and treated. So gratefulfor these guys. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The Doctors are competent and not patronizing. They listen to your concerns and take your opinion as in considering your take on the situation. They do not mess around and refer you if necessary. You mostly wait passed your appointment time but in return I never felt rushed by a doctor. I never waited overly long. No matter how many questions I ask, they take their time and answer everything. The receptionists do everything possible to help. I rather wait a bit longer and be treated with patience than getting in on time and be rushed out.
No GP is perfect . Mistakes happen everywhere and the people here give their best.

This has been the best GP surgery we have been registered at. Dr Flint is the most amazing GP, he really takes his time with you and listens to your concerns, granted you often have to wait a litttle longer but the wait is worth it as you don’t feel rushed when it’s your turn. The only down side to the surgery is some of the reception staff are slacking a bit on customer service and they can often be issues on the admin side but the GP soon sorts it. I have to say though Karen is the best receptionist she really listens to you and always goes above and beyond to try sort you an appointment for you.

A girl at the reception today morning (12 december) with a name starting with the letter G. Sounds bored of being there, as if she’s forced to answer the phone, disgusting and mean attitude. Not being able to even get a telephone consultation for 2 days ? 3 minute call with the doctor ? This is the Worst medical practice I have ever dealt with. It’s not just today. i have had a bad experience with them in the past, my medication review was booked TWICE a few months ago, no one called me, I have been taking the same medications for 8 years, so not being able to book them and get my repeat prescription, I was forced to stop taking the medications, which caused my health to deteriorate since then . waste of space for such a big building. I have been there many times, I saw with my eyes how the staff behaves at the reception. They are talking and laughing among themselves when the phone rings and rings………… just to answer it and say that next available appoitment is in 3 weeks. Haha, I may as well die. Who cares.

Please avoid this GP, we made an appointment at 10:45 as we suspected our child of having UTI. The appointment was set for 10:45, at around 11:20, apparently there was a sign on the screen with our child’s name to go into one of the rooms. We haven’t seen any. After another 10 minutes we spoke with receptionist who informed us that doctor decided to take another patient therefore our trip ended up as waiting in the waiting room for nearly an hour.
Honestly if this practice was a business I’d call them scammers and cowboys Long time ago. AVOID!
