Reading other reviews I am not the only one who has experienced this. It’s a nightmare booking an appointment to start with, the reception thinks it’s fun for us to come and visit. I try my best not to use NHS unless I got no choice. When you phone no one answers, you book online it tells you to phone them to book, it’s a joke why the option to book online ?
I managed to book online and got an appointment when I came in the morning reception lady shortish hair slim middle age white lady, she was laughing with a white british patient before me making jokes as soon as she saw me she got all serious, rude and unhelpful. Reading other reviews patients with foreign names said the same reception being rude this is serious as health care is a serious matter it needs to be looked at, this needs to be addressed this clinic is in Slough one of most multi cultured area, racist staff need to be sacked as obviously they aren’t happy helping other ethnicities before I used to think they are just miserable probably unhappy with their jobs but reading reviews from other patients there’s more to it. And whenever I came in phone is hardly ringing which is few times now, don’t understand when you call in to book an appointment why it’s busy and no one answers. Doctors and nurses are all lovely no issues with them at all.

Grossly Negligent. No one will man the phones even during stated hours, and this is intentional, I've had one appointment 12 months ago and haven't been able to get any since 1 month. Theyve stopped walk ins since COVID. This behaviour has been adopted across London gum clinics ... needs review asap as this is causing a rise in disease in the area (stated on their own website, why are you surprised?). Anyone that cares should inform NHS England of their experience ASAP and write to their local MP because this will not change otherwise. Their statistics don't even consider you if you never managed to book an appointment.... Do your community a service and tell NHS England what's happening.

Every single staff member here is friendly and informative. The facilities are modern and access to the service is easy. Compared to other clinics, the garden clinic really shines through as an example of how it should be done.

I just wanted to write that I had a really seamless experience with using the Garden Clinic. While I had been waiting over a month at the GP for a certain procedure, I called up the garden clinic and was booked in immediately for the following week. The staff were patient, kind and informative. A few weeks later, I was worried that I had had complications, and was given an emergency appointment for that same morning. My nurse for that, Stella, was so lovely and really made me feel so at ease in what is otherwise a very intimate and scary situation. I am very grateful that this service exists.

My first ever experience with the Garden Clinic is a very good one, I called in on last Monday to book an appointment and Raheema dealt with me over the phone. She is very lovely individual, extremely polite and professional. I had my appointment same day, Raheema welcomed me with a friendly smile in the reception. Also I was seen by Romanian nurse (sorry I didn't get your name) who was also very lovely and professional. Thank you both again for that. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I went today to get a hormonal IUD inserted (also known as an IUS). First time having this form of contraception and I also haven't given birth before. It is an uncomfortable procedure, I won't sugarcoat it: I threw up due to the pain afterwards.
Having said that, the nurses and the staff at the clinic are wonderful. I had Marie and Ellie for my procedure and they really helped put me at ease. They went at pace that was best for me. Both of them were lovely and have extremely good bedside manners.
Marie made sure that I was aware of my options and was well informed of the possible side effects. I was also able to take home an information leaflet on the type of IUD I got inserted.
I recommend anyone considering an IUD to go here. There is a bit of a waiting list but I was able to book an appointment through their online system. I also suggest taking painkillers before the appointment and bringing along a stress ball.

I visited today to have the mirena coil fitted. I was met at reception and asked to provide a urine sample and then to take a seat in the waiting room. I was waiting only about 5 minutes before being called through by a nurse called Marie. I was really anxious about the procedure and had been working myself up the whole morning and evening before. Marie was an absolute professional and was so reassuring. She really managed to put me at ease and the procedure itself from start to finish was only a few minutes. The start was very similar to having a smear test and the placement of the coil itself was only mildly uncomfortable (like quite a strong period cramp) and only lasted a few seconds. I took paracetamol and ibuprofen beforehand which I think helped. I have never given birth so was expecting it to be incredibly painful but the whole experience couldn't have been more different from how I'd imagined it would be.

My only criticism is that the waiting time to get the appointment was around 2 months (apparently due to covid). I suppose that sort of thing is out of the individual clinics control though so I am still giving a 5 star review.

All of the staff I came into contact with today were so kind and treated me with absolute dignity. Thank you for making an anxious time as bearable as possible and in particular a huge thank you to Marie, you were great!
