Lovely staff who work there.
My experience, is they just listening, no feed back, rather detrimental to ones medical records.
Guess it is token service, they did not give me any reasonable, diagnosis, just crap. I suspect by design? No wonder we have many who suffer, proper crap service, the regurgitating what they learn at university. No love no compassion, no understanding. Money is the new God. !!

Both my care coordinator and psychiatrist here are so caring and make sure I don't feel unheard. My care coordinator takes time to explore different avenues with me to understand my mental health more. They have saved my life numerous times, being ever so careful with my medication and answering phone calls when I need them most. Don't believe everything you hear about the ellis centre, there's actually really good hardworking people here who understand and listen, it's just getting those right people for you that understand you. I don't know where I'd be today without them! Very grateful for Rebeccah and Dr Cooke.

Waited 2 years for an appointment to see someone, once you get past the arrogant and provocative receptionist it's not such a bad place. The cpn I was given was extremely incompetent and never followed up on things he said he would do. I was given a mental health social worker 4 months later I'm still waiting to see her? When you complain or speak in a disapproving dialogue your accused as being hostile, they've written false reports in my file (as if I'm not conforming), I.e I failed to go get a routine blood test, ERM I THINK THERE'S A PANDEMIC OCCURRING RIGHT NOW the hospital is not doing routine blood tests. They said I came to the centre and was threatening I've recorded this conversation and there is know threatening behaviour involved. Just be careful patients and patients families the ellis centre have a tendency to demonise peoples mental health symptoms.

Lack of empathy, understanding, knowledge. Misdiagnose people, gaslight people and then put you on addictive meds and discharge with no support. Mhs say I jeed ongoing support so where is it? after seeing the lies the Ellis Centre told in letters to GP I am seeking legal advice as they have acted totally unprofessionally

Visited the centre for an appointment and was spoken to in such a manner by the receptionist that we had to leave. Due to this and previous other incidents of subordinate, dismissive and hostile behaviour we have now gone private. These people should not be looking after vulnerable and mentally unwell people. You are a disgrace to our community.

This place is an absolute joke they have left my husband who has a number of mental health conditions unstably medicated he goes months without seeing anybody he has attempted suicide on numerous occasions to which they just abandon him or palm him off onto the crisis team its an absolutely disgusting place and i dread to think the number of people who have lost there lives because of this service to say this service deals with vulnerable people with mental health issues they ought to be ashamed of themselves and get staff that can actually do the job properly
