I have been coming to this practice since a child and have had nothing but issues with staff and processes over the year. This practice is the worst for patient care and outcomes. Staff are very unhelpful and constantly gossiping behind the desk. Nurses are rude and punish you for turning up a few minutes late by making you wait for atleast another hour to be seen even when their is still time gaps between the next patient which causes an impact on work commitments. Argumentative nurses who threaten not to treat you if they aren’t happy on the day. Nurses would rather argue with patients when not even competent enough to administrate injections and minor treatments. On trying to escalate a complaint to staff/ receptionists, to be told to go and look up the PALS complaint address yourself on google is just enough to make a patient feel unwelcome, disposable and undermined. This practice causes a lot of stress and anxiety for me as a patient. Having to wait for an hour daily to get through after hours of waiting to speak and book an appointment which is always weeks ahead due to availability then to turn up and be treated like a customer rather than a patient shows the ethics and level of patient care delivered.

I would provide zero stars but im not able too.

The reception staff are liars, they told me my appointment won't see after 5 minutes late, I called the booking line and was told I'd seen be if I was 10 minutes late.

I came in 10 minutes late but the staff are unhelpful and painfully slow.

This place needs shutting down.

Just had my bloods taken by Nadia, as always extremely professional and ocean of knowledge. Polite and respectful. She's wasted at Dr Babar and partners surgery, she's worth her weight in gold. The 5 stars are for her!
Unfortunately can't say that about this truly abissmal surgery.
Can never get an appointment, they don't call back when they say they will, zero patient care. Phones constantly engaged or on call back later!
I'll be writing a formal complaint, as being a diabetic in full time work, I need the advice and care. Not asking for much. Phone consultation for ear, mouth, private parts that need examining....come on GPs.
Nadia gives more advice which no GP at this surgery has been able to do.

My experience at Shifa Croft is terrible. As somebody who is recieving treatment from this place, I constantly feel unwelcome and ignored. Not only is the receptionist on the second floor extremely rude and uninviting, she acts as if she doesn't want to be there; ultimately placing the patients in a position making them feel it's their fault she has to work there. The orthodontist I go to, is extremely confusing and doesn't explain what he is doing, what he will be doing and what will happen in future visits well. Sometimes he doesn't say anything at all. I had no clue I would have to wear "twin blocks" or "retainers" until I actually recieved them!!! Please stay clear of this place if you can, not only is the atmosphere of the building terrible, the staff aren't any better!

After a procedure on her eye my wife was given a tube of antibiotic cream that had previously been opened and presumably used on somebody else,what happened to a sterile environment!!
The person who gave it to her was aware it had been opened previously but still gave it to her.

This place is absolutely appalling. The receptionist has a disgusting attitude to patients. She does not listen, she interrups, she is extremely impatient and entitled. Please do not come here unless you want to have a terrible rest of your week.

Dr Roy is very very arrogant and doesn't take patients well being and concerns serious don't know how he is still a gp he's needs a investigation doing

I was treated like cattle by a nurse here. She did not take my stitch out properly. She hurt me, I screamed twice then she didn't give me any advice, didn't put a dressing on or anything and when I got home I had to pull my own stitch out and dress it myself because it was weeping. It looks like it still has black stitch material in there. Instead of writing a complaint I asked to speak to her but she was totally devoid of compassion. I really like empathetic, compassionate nurses. This one is not one of those. And then she had the temerity to say something which made me think she may be on the psychopath level. It was horrible. I never want to go back there again.
