first GP surgery i’ve been with in 5 years where the doctors actually listen and take my conditions seriously, explain things helpfully and try to solve my complex issues. a breath of fresh air. i have Long Covid, which is horrible and currently only managed via self-experimenting and private prescriptions, but i appreciate the support of having some of these prescriptions continued, and my comorbid conditions supported via GP. i spoke to a few different doctors and all have been really great!
the receptionists are always polite and helpful as well.

the only thing is, appointments are bookable only via phonecall – as someone with an energy limiting condition, it would be better for accessibility to add an online booking option, i’m sure many would benefit from this.

I recently had surgery and used the Cranborne practice in Verwood for my recovery. The doctors and the staff were excellent in helping with my pain management and my aftercare. A special mention to Jocelyn the nurse who removed the stitches in my head with great patience and sensitivity. Thank you all!

Best GP practice I've ever been with. Receptionists are kind and helpful which is so important when you're feeling unwell. Doctors also take time to really listen and do their absolute best for the patients. You can usually get an appointment on the same day too. Top marks from me for The Cranborne Practice!

We moved to this doctor's practice due to some problems with out-of-hours service at another doctor's office over 15 years ago, and we have not regretted it since. The receptionists, doctors, nurses, and staff provide amazing care, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

The whole team is dedicated to providing excellent service. Sometimes, we deal with other local practices with some relatives, and then we realize how helpful and flexible the team at Cranborne (& Lake Road) is.

From the innovative drive-through vaccinations to the way everyone gets attention on the day they ask for it and countless other clever ideas, I find it difficult to believe there is a better doctor's surgery available.

Even the Wi-Fi works in the Cranborne surgery now, which would have been my only criticism in the past.

It has been about three months since we changed Doctors' practice to Cranborne, and I though that it deserves some feedback.

We are frankly absolutely astonished at the difference. Nothing is too much trouble. Doctors are available when needed without any question, appointments are face-to-face with the option of telephone, which is often all that is needed. But if you want to actually see a Doctor, you do not have to wait for long, and the staff are all so solicitous. This evening, one of us even received an unsolicited call at 7.10 ! which is what prompted this posting.

So thank you to everyone at Cranborne; it is really appreciated. Changing surgery was the best thing we could have done.
