Very hard to get an appointment, & feel rushed up when you do get one. Not the friendliest staff. I was in an appointment for no more than 5 minutes, and when I wanted to elaborate on my chronic conditions, I was literally hushed up and told to book another appointment. I get it that they are busy, but seriously? Luckily ive moved from Burnham now and am with a surgery that actually operates professionally. With this being said there was a younger doctor I saw once who seemed like he was in training and he was the best one there, and friendly so I would like to give him some credit. Except from that, your best finding a witch doctor or going to a church and praying, because this place is a nightmare lol.

After being over 30 years with the same Doctor, my wife and I were very apprehensive when 6 months ago we moved to Burnham on Crouch and had to find a Surgery to register with. Read all the reviews and decided to register with The Burnham Surgery regardless of the many negative comments.
Well, so far we both have only good things to say about this Surgery! From polite and helpful Receptionists, very nice and helpful Nurses and polite kind Doctors. Can't praise this Surgery enough.

I'm going to echo what all the other 1 star reviews reflect; Dr. Rahman is a truly terrible GP and I can not stress enough that you must insist on seeing another GP if you're assigned to him. He's level of care is non existent. Burnham Surgery needs better standards.

Intact zero stars.
Im reporting you to under section 20 of the Disability act 2010.
You are very unhelpful towards me and my daughter.
We are both disabled.
Also please take the Military Covadent act where you also failed.
Except a call from from the Matron from help for Hero,s who I am under.
You have failed me and my daughter.
For that you now have my full focus.
I have just been to a neighbour to put this on here.
Not impressed whatsoever.

I was just treated so so badly by Dr. Rahman!! I went in for depression, anxiety and panic attacks all for him to STAND OVER ME the entire appointment and look at me like an idiot. I've been told by independent mental health therapists to speak to my Dr about the right to choose for an autism assessment and had to argue till I was blue in the face just to recieve the forms! And when he agreed to give them to me, he said fine fill them out but you won't be accepted for an assessment anyways because you won't pay privately and we won't fund you!! I have a snecky suspicion my forms will be binned when I return them!! Absolutely disgusting bedside manner, waving his arms around patronising me. This man should not be a Dr!!

EDIT - I went back today and due to my medication side effects I've had around 6 hours sleep in 5 days. I am not one to mess with prescription pills so I asked for some melatonin, a NATURAL hormone the body produces to get to sleep, rather than an addictive sleeping aid and was told by this Dr. Rahman only hospitals prescribe it - a lie. I called the chemist who confirmed I can get it through the GP and when I asked the receptionist to chase it she said he told her only a secondary care provider could prescribe (so not the hospital as he first suggested) ie the mental health nurse. So why could he prescribe me anti depressants and anti anxiety? I asked what I should do then to sleep to be told by the Dr to take my ANTI DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY TABLETS ON AND OFF?!!?!?!! I said I didn't feel comfortable doing this considering I've been told by the hospital to under no circumstances stop taking the meds or mess around with them and upon further investigation this ISNT A THING. Disgusting practice and I've made a formal complaint and will be taking this higher. Dr Rahman has put me and my mental health at risk so very greatly.

Disgusting treatment from a Dr. Rahman who has no care for patients well being and no knowledge of medication and how it works! Other wise, why would they tell a patient to take medication they need DAILY "on and off" to ease side effects even though this would make the side effects even worse? All in all incredibly rude, intimidating and should be struck off or re trained at the very least. Very dangerous man!!

I understand the NHS is under huge pressure but this surgery has messed up my prescriptions almost every month so I
have physically go there to request it. Just waited on phone for 22 minutes for an answer and then told by the receptionist I can't book a blood test even though its written on my prescription I need one, honestly, they are appalling

Myself and my dad had a similar experience, we explained the symptoms we had at the time, we were both met with a similar question.. "what would you like me to do" or "what would you like me to give you". Now I don't need to tell you how that question can be abused or how that question shows the inexperience of the doctor at hand, but when I go to a doctor, I expect him or her to use their knowledge on the matter to give me a direct answer or something along those lines. Not the other way round! therefore I have given a 2 star review. "I'm not the doctor you are". Its tough enough already not having the answers, let alone being asked the same question I've been asking for months by the doctor. I'll end it by saying... "what if it was fatal".
