My experience of Arundel Surgery is excellent. This was my parents Dr's all the time they lived in arundel. They have always been amazing accept for the last few years, since covid.
Our mum had alot of medical issues causing her to deal with pain and depression through pain daily. I and my sisters had accompanied our mum on many occasions and have seen the change in understanding compassion and patience from Dr's. Tge receptionists are amazing. The same cannot be said fir the Dr's who seem to have given up on older people.
Our mum died last week, we visited the Dr as we knew at least mum would be seen then comfortable and loved at home. Rather than abandoned in a corridor on a hard bed with nothing gvto eat or drink in an overstretched a &r department.
The Dr we saw got out hus little machine to do mums Sat's.... it didn't work so aftef trying , telling us it dud not work he can't it aside. He made no attempt go get another. He did nit really seem bothered about our mum, slumped in her chair finding breathing difficult.then passed comment about " this is what happens when yoyf old" then if yoyr mum gets worse take her to A n e , we're just a go surgery and they can deal with issues like this better.

.. she would have been just left. We just needed reassurance and our mum compassion, understanding and kindness. Yiy dud not look or behave with any of yhe above. Mum was found dead the next morning.nit yoyr fault at all. But as I said kindness compassion and understanding costs nothing.

This is our new GP surgery but so far the registering process and first encounters with the staff exceeded our expectations. The reception staff/administrators were very friendly, helpful, professional, respectful with person centred approach. The GP offered us an appointment on the same day, he was kind, reassuring, he listened to our concerns, we did not feel dismissed or ignored. It was a great service at a highest standard. Thank you.

I have moved into the area and registered with Arundel Surgery.
The receptionists were really helpful advising me what I needed to do to register and where to find the forms.
I then popped in with the completed forms and my ID and again they were really helpful.
Yesterday I had a call from my new GP and we talked through my medication and it was immediately put onto their system so I can order prescriptions via the app.
The GP was really helpful and even recommended something new for my eczema.
I then went into the app and ordered 2 items last evening and my presentation is ready at the pharmacy today.
I honestly cannot fault this practice.

I would just like to say that Arundel Surgery have been amazing for me.
I know we love to say blah blah but I have always managed to get an appointment and everyone has been really helpful, and friendly even when confronted by people who are in pain like I was yesterday!
