Friends who are unable to get an appointment at their Surgeries cannot believe how good I tell them all the staff are in Templehill Surgery.
Having lived in various places in the UK, and been registered with various Surgeries,Templehill is easily the best.

Attended Dr Sarah Davidson on Monday at 10.00 with mole on my neck/chest. She took a photograph of it and said she would send it to the Hospital Dermatology Dept for examination.
Wednesday morning I received a call inviting me into Ayr Hospital for medical photographs to be taken. Phototos taken on Thursday and will receive a notification in 4 weeks. Fantastic service by surgery and hospital

Yesterday I saw physio Adam Jones for consultation about likely cause of troublesome shoulder and arm pain.

Tests performed, suitable exercise tried and recommended; advice sheet provided.

Adam is friendly, professional and helpful.

The discomfort is abating,thanks to the effective exercise regime.

Worst phone service! Wait to get to the options, then when you choose an option it isn't registered and you have to hang up and start all over again, and again, and again! Really awful service and so time consuming

Always been a good practice, been going since I was a child. Sadly though, the newest Doctor, Jairyman (unsure of spelling) lets them down. He has poor practional skills and seems to want to file people through the door as soon as possible. I have had personal and close family (my mother) experience. He has prescribed me medication for periods which clearly says on it to avoid taking if any close family has had Breast or Cervical cancer, my mother had breast cancer and my aunt died of cervical cancer, both of which he is aware of and when I pointed this out to him he argued the cause that it was safe and fine however I consulted a different doctor and was told it shouldn't of been considered let alone prescribed. Another of his lack of concerns was with my mother the other year, she was going through her chemotherapy treatment at the time and was told that having a sore throat, no matter how minor during the treatment can be a sign of underlying and serious problems. My Mom put up with it for the week and when it got worse she became worried and went to him to which he said, and I quote: "Ride out the storm"
The man is unreliable and just wants as many people through his door so he can get his pay cheque at the end of the day. For me personally I'd rather wait a week with something potentially serious than have that man deal with me. It would have the same effect. Your better not going than going to him. A huge let down to the practice.

Slow in waiting room, when sen doc was not listened to and doctor and told I only Had ten minutes. Refused to be gigiving medication when I was. In pain. Even though the hospital had given me it 3days before. I'm in need of pain relief
