This has got to be one of the worst surgeries in Hull. You can no longer call for anything as your referred to an online form, the form is only able to be completed between 0800-1300 and if you have no access to do this between those hours then there physically no way to be able to get anything requested or appointments made. Almost all of the staff are unhelpful and rude. All they do is cause frustration and have no intention to help anyone. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs.

UPDATED REVIEW. So originally, I gave 1 star due to never being able to get appointments and due to rude receptionists. However 1 year later lots of improvements made, I've had lots of health issues and needed to see the doctor quite often and always managed to get an appointment however I've often had to travel to other areas, not a problem for me but maybe would be to people who can't travel. Also, receptionist staff have been really helpful and polite. This place has massively improved.

I would give 0 stars if I could.
The worst doctors to get an appointment, ring at 8 o’clock to be on hold for over 40 minutes to then be told there’s no face to face appointments left for the day , and to either go to the walk in centre to wait for 4 hours or call back in the morning to maybe possibly get an appointment if your lucky ! And why do they feel the need to ask you what the issue is to be able to see a doctor, I shouldn’t have to give you in depth detail about my issues in order for me to see a doctor?! if it’s private and personal I don’t want to be discussing it with reception staff quite simply!
Why she was asking me in depth is beyond me when she claims there’s no more appointments left for the day ! If there’s no more appointments you don’t need to know my issues surely? Very strange!
Really dislike this doctors and rude reception staff ! Avoid at all costs!

So...I had my medication changed to add another item to my reccuring prescription and for the last 5 or 6 weeks there has always been a problem.

It's clear there is a total lack of communication between not only the staff and patients, but the team themselves. Nobody seems to know about different calls I made or who has told me what. Surely there are notes of some kind that would help them understand what is happening?

I had to file a formal complaint today as I'm sick to death of being messed about and wasting my own time. I have easily made 10 phone calls to have things sorted and have been told so much conflicting information.

Oh, and a member of staff flat out lied about what I said on a phone call, despite my friend and the pharmacy staff being there for my initial call. I was really disgusted.

Although things finally seem to have been sorted with my medication, because of a receptionist called Wendy, I can absolutely say i hold little hope of things changing.

Collecting weekly medication should not be a trial of such stupidity and angst. I feel an extreme anxiety and aggravation when dealing with them, and believe things will go wrong with every call I continue to make.

I'm strongly considering changing doctors unless things change promptly and effectively

Well how do I give this practice a ZERO! Twice in less than a month I've had my appointments cancelled 20 minutes before I was due to be seen! Only to be waiting another 3 weeks to be seen to again. I've had to take time out of work for this which isn't ideal!! The women on the phone had no explanation to why my appointment had been cancelled! Image if I cancelled on them 20mins before! Disgusting!!!

Called at 8am, 8th in the queue and managed to get an appointment for the same day. My 3 year old saw Caroline Cassidy and she was brilliant, fully engaged with him in a playful way which made the appointment a breeze. 100% happy

I would be very surprised if a patient of this practice hasn’t died as a direct result of the criminally incompetent/ negligent receptionists.

I have two sisters signed up to this practice. Sister one called up, described the symptoms of a STROKE, and the receptionist arranged a phone appointment for several days later. Sister didn’t realise those are stroke symptoms. Receptionist had ZERO excuse for not recognising it.

Sister two is on medication that any and all medics would immediately recognise the importance of. The way these pen pushing imbeciles have messed around with prescriptions and then outright LIED about conversations they’ve had with sister two when she’s been chasing up her prescriptions, has DIRECTLY caused sister two to be hospitalised on multiple occasions, one of those being a blue light admission.

The level of arrogance and dishonesty demonstrated even by the woman who claimed to be the practice manager, means a complaint to the practice will have no impact. This will have to be dealt with through legal channels. I advise anyone else who’s had issues with this practice, to complain to the trust

Receptionists always pleasant and as helpful as possible, though not always easy to get same day appointments but I think that's the same everywhere atm. Doctors I have seen recently have been good
