It's never too packed but the pharmacy I go to that's connected to it, well them pharmacists & other staff work so hard you can tell even when you only go twice a week cz there's nearly always a queue & the place is so small yet it's ram packed with workers & boxes of meds, nowhere for them to sit down but even so u the young girls at the front are always so lovely & helpful even though they're so busy doing their best 2 help everyone yet quite a few times I've been there (inside & out) I've heard ppl & had them telling me aswell abt how awful they are there apparently they can never get all of their tablets n stuff like that - I can't believe how unbelievably cheeky these ppl are I'm sure some of them are justified bt most of em don't even take them it's just part of their bull 2 get more money so they don't have to pay for those exact things innit!

Left our previous doctors due to very rude receptionists and many issues with them not diagnosing health issues which out of hours GP were easily able to diagnose. We transferred here after recommendations from friends, they have been nothing but helpful everytime we call, repeat medication is always sent on time and we can quickly get an appoimtment when needed!

I would Like to say a big thank you to
Nicky in admin for her helpfulness and understanding today. I have had severe sciatica and a virus and she couldn't have been nicer and helped me loads by listening and speaking to the doctor regarding my concerns and worries and relaying them back as well as booking me into physio..
since changing to SM from 2020 I have found the surgery helpful and I have always managed to see a doctor when needed. They don't just leave you if they have concerns over anything they will follow it up unlike my last practice.

I have been a patient for many years here and find all the staff extremely helpful and very polite. I didn't use to go a lot but over the last 10 weeks or so have been struggling with breathlessness. Dr Telford has been extremely thorough in trying to diagnose via trying different tablets and ECGs etc. just last week I felt worse with swollen feet and legs. I was given an appointment with Dr Prowde three days running were I had ECG everyday and my AFIB was eratic. Dr wasn't happy with this and sent me straight to hospital were I spent four days and over 5 litres of fluid was removed and oh my word what a difference this has made to my life. Came away with new meds and outpatient appointments. I cannot thank the surgery and all staff for my care

Unusable Failing Doctors Surgery. Sutton Manor Surgery doesn’t offer any usable services. You cannot book any appointments in advance. All appointments have to be booked by calling in the morning at 8am and after being on hold for up to an hour listening to awful music, you will be told that there are no appointments left and to phone back the next day. You call the next day and it’s the same. If you do get through for an appointment they will expect you to leave work / school run / caring responsibilities and attend the surgery at short notice. When you cannot attend at short notice the receptionists with tell you off like you are some kind of child and talk down to you. The receptionists will speak to you like you are the problem. Sutton Manor surgery will not treat you as an individual and they will not take into account any difficulties you are having. I recently made an online request to have a call with doctor on a Wednesday, for the next three days the receptionists couldn’t understand that I could only have an appointment via telephone due to personal circumstances despite explaining my position. They booked me a face to face appointment, didn’t tell me about it then called me and left me a very abusive voicemail because I’d missed it! Eventually I was booked a telephone appointment for 15.15 on a Friday, the doctor called me at 17.45. I had tried to call the surgery to ask about the appointment time, I was on hold for 30 mins without anyone answering, I gave up. Just how long is a reasonable amount of time for them to answer the phone? They didn’t bother to call me and let me know appointments were running 2.5 hours late. Patients shouldn’t be expected to stop their lives and responsibilities to fit in with the poor care and services at the surgery. After my appointment on the Friday I was told that I would receive a bar code so that I could pick up my prescription (that I needed 3 days earlier) I was also told that my prescription would be waiting at the adjoining pharmacy. I left work (after having to stay late to accommodate their late appointment without notice) got to the pharmacy to be told that my prescription was not there! The surgery was shut. I had also not received a bar code so I was unable to pick up any medication. At this point I could have broken down in the pharmacy and I was really really upset and frustrated. I was left in pain and feeling unwell all weekend and then had to take time off work to collect my prescription on the Monday and head to work still unwell and in pain. I got to the surgery and they didn’t even know where my prescription was! No considerations for my personal data protection. The receptionists also wanted me to tell her (an unqualified admin worker) what was on my prescription in front of the rest of the room which did not promote my right to privacy and dignity. Sutton Manor surgery took away my right to access basic healthcare which as a tax payer and a resident of the UK I have the right to reasonably access. They do not care about patients. Honestly my special needs sister could do a better job than these people and she can’t read, write, walk, is visually impaired and doesn’t understand the concept of reality. Funnily enough when I was at the surgery at 8am there were patients turning up for appointments - so they do allow perhaps a select few amount of patients to book in for the next day so they have regularly lied to me about appointment bookings. So to summarise, you will not get treatment, you will not get your prescription, they will speak to you like you are a stupid child, not treat you as an individual, lie to you, not answer the phone, not give you an appointment and deny you your basic right to health care. Please remember the CQC score of ā€œgoodā€ is no longer relevant - please be aware these scores are not scored annually they can be years and years old and they certainly are not meeting the requirements of good. Save yourself from this stress and de register / register somewhere else. Terrible surgery, terrible service and terrible staff.

Can not fault this surgery at all. Never had a problem getting in to see a doctor, every doctor I have seen have been very thorough. The nurses and receptionists are all so helpful so glad I was forced to change surgeries due to a house move 3 years ago. All in all it’s a great service from a struggling NHS

Fantastic surgery, never had an issue getting an appointment. Sometimes it can be difficult to get through onto the phone / phone queue initially but that is only natural with the amount of people phoning first thing in the morning and is not just specific to this surgery.

Receptionists are always super helpful and prescription requests are dealt with super quick.

All consultations I have had I’ve come away satisfied with the outcome unlike previous visits experiences at my last surgery.

If anyone is thinking of enrolling it’s definitely worth it!
There is obvious things that could require improvement but that’s more the NHS itself rather than things the surgery can improve on.

This surgery used to be good.

Can’t get appointments, it’s dreadful. Wouldn’t see my 5 year old with ear infection last week, said leave for a few days and not interested in looking. Ended up two days later in the walk in for 4hours. Infection and needs looking at again in a week. Called them and can’t pre-book appointments. I am in the car travelling to work at 8am. The process is broken and needs fixing
