I had an extremely unpleasant experience with a receptionist named Roman Rawanda. I called to book an appointment because I was feeling very unwell and had suffered a dangerous accident. Instead of showing any empathy or care, she was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. She hurriedly booked me an appointment at a walk-in center for the next day at 10 AM but didn’t bother to give me the address or any further details. To make matters worse, she hung up the call abruptly without ensuring I had understood everything.

This level of disregard for patients, especially in vulnerable situations, is shocking and unacceptable. Reception staff are the first point of contact for patients, and a basic level of respect and communication should be the bare minimum. Clearly, proper training in patient care and communication is needed here. I wouldn’t recommend this practice based on this experience alone. Terrible service.

My whole family have been patients at this surgery for over 20 years. We are extremely grateful to have such great GP’s and staff handling all our medical needs. Dr Agarwal and Dr Thomas are the most amazing, attentive and caring GP’s I have ever come across and I have lived in in many cities in the Uk including Coventry, London, Gloucester and Nottingham and even Saudi Arabia. The medical staff always go the extra mile to listen to the patients issues and take action in a timely manner to support the patient and work towards finding the appropriate treatment. The reception staff are so polite and friendly and always try their best to accommodate patients. I would never change my GP practice as they are the best.

I’ve had an infection for the past 3 weeks tried to see Dr Aggarwal however I could not get a face to face appointment they told me the doctor would call me the next day around 1-2pm. Luckily I had called in sick at work because of the pain I was going through . The doctor did not even call me but left a voicemail saying “hi how are you” at 11:45. I immediately called back to get a call back from the doctor. I waited until 5pm in insufferable pain to not receive any call backs I rang 3 times after and they told me to wait for a call back. I called again at 5 and I got told the doctor had gone home and they referred to a pharmacy. After 2 weeks of running to the walk in centre and calling 111. I called again today, because after the medication I still have been suffering from the infection and the doctor told me I need to wait till tomorrow for a urine test and was not giving me antibiotics as I should “wait because one day will not make much of a difference” I told him I’m in pain and have been calling in sick at work and he told me “he will give a sick note” rather than resolving my issue and providing me the correct treatment. I will be changing my gp because the service is disgraceful and don’t want to leave my health in the hands of this surgery. Will not recommend it to anyone.

The reception and administration team at this surgery are in dire need of being dismissed - they lie, they're rude, they'll refuse to go the extra mile for anyone and when you tell them that they have failed in several key areas of the CQC's standards (effective, well led, caring and responsive) they suggest you find another GP surgery.

It's a shame as the Dr's are generally quite nice and helpful, but these reception staff are awful and should be in a different profession.

I was told a prescription would be sent through by 6pm today, when i phoned to check on it around 4pm, the story changed and i was told it wouldn't be until tomorrow morning, then i had calls disconnected by the terrible reception staff who had already broken their promise to me, upon being put through to a manager, she spoke over me, refused to listen to my issue and said 'how would anyone tell you it would be there by 6pm, we're not the doctors', when i told her i had a recording of that call, she changed her story to 'they must have been trying to be helpful' by lying to me?

Terrible, terrible auxiliary staff.

This medical centre is absolutely useless and provides no support at all. I’m so disappointed in the service as I have been suffering with an issue for months and the best they can do is say oh ok. Basically getting paid to do nothing. I do have to say the reception staff are very nice and helpful but the doctors very poor.

I've been a patient at Stoke Aldermoor Medical Centre for some time now, and I am thoroughly pleased with the services provided. One staff member who has particularly stood out is Nurse Luiza.

She is not only super professional but also incredibly patient with both kids and grown-ups alike. Her expertise shines through in every interaction, making me feel confident and comfortable during my visits. It's clear that she has a wealth of experience and a dedication to patient care that is truly commendable.

I truly appreciate the care and attention she provides. It's reassuring to know that such a competent and compassionate professional is part of the team at Stoke Aldermoor Medical Centre.

Thank you, Nurse Luiza, and the entire team at Stoke Aldermoor Medical Centre, for your outstanding service and commitment to patient care!

I will not recommend you to Join this GP. They mislead by booking appointment with Physician Associates (PA) (who are not medical doctors). The PA’s don’t introduce themselves hence disguising their identity. Only on insistence they would book an appointment with GP doctor that too with a wait time of more than 2 weeks. Dr Aggarwal doesnt see patient’s and it is next to impossible to book an appointment with him. He does not come on time and remotely manages appointments via phone.
Please dont register with this GP office. The doctor’s only work on locum basis

About two weeks max to get an appointment lest you gamble for a same day.
The doctors have been patient and kind, though I've never been inside the actual building. Phone lines can require a hit of waiting but nothing excessive.
