I’ve had a few bad experiences before however

I’m currently in Howard ward with my little boy and I can not fault the level of care! They were compassionate and will genuinely take the time out of their day to help you

A massive thank you to the lady last night who came in simply to give him a cuddle and take the load off me for a bit the people working in this ward genuinely care and it really makes a difference

Had a quick day Op here and I have to say it was so incredibly easy, well organised. I felt cared for, helped at every stage, excellent theatre team and front desk staff were incredibly jolly for a 7:30 start. Excellent NHS trust and a spotless hospital ward and threatre complex. You will be in great hands

Waiting is horrible but then again, it is in most hospitals.
My dad was seen within 10 minutes and 20 minutes of bloods and a few questions but was left waiting for 5 - 6 hours on a hospital bed to be checked by a doctor.
He was given pain medication but only 10mg (of morphine) which didn't have much of effect on him.
I will say though, that they have been helpful and answered every question since he was put in a ward. But in my situation, I was on holiday and live around 2+ hrs away from this hospital and the hospital had refused to transfer him and said they couldn't give him transport home. My dad does say the nurses are polite and nice and haven't had any issues with the hospital with how they treat him.

16 months of been pushed aside in Queen Alexandra cosham I finally arrived here at St Richard’s and wow the level of care in this hospital is just unbelievable. I can’t put it into words how grateful I am for this incredible service and such amazing staff sorry can’t even call them staff they are like angels who actually enjoy there job enjoy looking after people. Even when you are not in the rite frame of mind and speak out of turn when you are hurt and feel like you’re not at your best and speaking out of turn they still always keep your best interest at heart. I could name loads of names of such lovable people but I would be writing names all nite and I wouldn’t have the time for it. My life was saved from this hospital and I’m so grateful to be able to write this review and so glad I got to come here to this wonderful place. Wish I could do more than give a silly 5 star review because I can’t be more grateful for the care and support I have received here. Best hospital I have ever been in. I am usually afraid of staying at hospitals but this place has me so relaxed and happy I have been here. Love to everyone who works here and takes care of the people they say they will take care of.

I was on holiday with my 14 year old daughter and my daughter became really unwell. I took her to St Richards hospital and wow they are amazing from the moment we stepped into urgent treatment centre to then being taken to childrens assessment unit the level of care and attention my daughter received was outstanding. This hospital really is amazing. They even contacted me when we was back home to see how my daughter was. Thank you so much for everything I cant thank them enough.

Very nice place and caring friendly doctor and nurse.I t was my very first appointment there and cannot fault how nice and understanding and caring they were. I was even allowed to ask questions too. That never happens at QA hospital. So thank you so much to St Richards hospital. Well done for how you are looked after there.

Absolute horrible and slow service. All the staff members are slow as hell .. don’t know the name but two of the female members ,in dark blue uniform. One with short hair another one long ish.. absolutely did no job apart from messing around in the whole hospital.. went in the hospital at 8 o clock in the morning and im writing that comment at 1:47 and still we are waiting for a simple xray… its a real joke

My wife was in intense pain and the maternity ward refused to see her.

Shes 35 weeks pregnant and we needed to have a quick check to make sure she wasn't in labour.

Leaving a pregnant woman in A&E for over an hour is unacceptable.

They told us on the phone to take 8 5ml syringes of kids calpol.

It’s an absolute joke never had anything like it
