Really horrible service. Booked in with my GP online, they referred me to Spring House & that I'd get a phone call at any point during the day... I had 2 phone calls, each of which were only ringing for about a second before they hung up. I never had a chance to answer. When I rang up the reception, they told me I was 'off the system' and that I'd have to rebook. This phone appointment was already a week after I made the appointment, and the appoint was about concerns about brain damage from repeated falls. Unbelievable. This is why I'm ALWAYS reluctant to go to a doctors. I really hope there's nothing serious, because no-one seems to want to help.

Negative review, receptionist was lovely, the doctor, an Indian lady, asked what was wrong, I explained, and she asked what I wanted her to do As a GP you should tell me... Then did nothing but laugh every time I spoke. Complete waist of time and totally unprofessional, very rude. Not happy.

I hate leaving negatives about NHS, but it's beyond funny for a long time now. Got 2 texts signed by Spring House saying I need to contact & arrange for a routine blood test. I now have time so call them & wait on hold as usual only to be told they don't book blood tests, it's all online & should check local hospital. Don't even acknowledge the texts sent *sigh*

I only have positive things to share about this surgery. I have had both my children using their services and it has been simply outstanding. The staff are wonderful, the appointments are on time, and I feel very lucky to have had the care that we have had from them.

A nurse here felt the need to turn her quiet conversation amongst the reception staff to one loud statement of "we don't get paid enough for this" in reference to my frustration of having withdrawals from the GP Surgery revoking my 3 year repeat prescription of 150mg Setraline, an SSRI with intense physical and mental withdrawal symptoms.

The reception staff were awful, making promising without moving an inch to get me to leave the building, blaming me for what is happening.

How can I walk into a building that is meant to be part of HEALTHCARE, implying you CARE about HEALTH, and be met with absolutely no care in the world, and actually be BLAMED that it is my fault I'm suffering.

Like it is my fault I have experienced such intense childhood trauma that I am navigating this world of deep rooted mental illness.

Regardless, if you can get past the gatekeepers of wellbeing - I'm sure the doctors at this establishment are more than cooperative.

CQC Informed as well as other relevant governing healthcare bodies - no one will be treated this way again.

This practice is excellent. Sometimes the reception staff can seem a bit abrupt on the phone but if you get the abuse they do at times, it's no wonder. I find if you're polite and friendly to them they are much more helpful. The doctors and nurses do everything they can to help and support. Can't recommend enough.
