Consultant did not do as I requested that was for an MRI on my shoulder blade, over £700. The second consultants i saw, his phone kept ringing and he eventually answered it and had a conversation. When i asked how long i will have my pain, his answer was,if i could predict that i would go and put my money on the lottery. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, not what you expect from a person in a position ,that should assist with your well being.I suggest anyone having a consultation at this hospital needs to record it,as I've paid alot of money for nothing,as I need to repeat my MRI at another hospital.

My experience with Spire Leicester has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. I had a consultation with a gynecologist on November 1st and was advised to book an MRI, with the promise that someone would contact me the following Monday to arrange it. However, I received no communication, and had to chase them myself to get the MRI scheduled, which eventually took place on November 29th.

To make matters worse, when I called to confirm if I needed to prepare for the MRI, I was told at the last minute that I needed a blood test for kidney results. After getting the test done, I had to repeatedly follow up with Spire to ensure they received the results, which involved a confusing and disorganized process, with no clarity from their side.

The follow-up appointment, initially booked for December 20th, was then canceled without explanation on December 6th. When I finally got through to someone, I was told it was due to my consultant’s injury, and that the next available appointment would be on January 31st. Then, just days ago, I received another cancellation for that appointment, with the next available one being pushed to March 7th.

What’s truly unacceptable is that I had an MRI on November 29th and, nearly four months later, still have no results or answers. When I asked if I could have another consultant review my MRI results to avoid further delays, I was told I would need to go through the entire process again, incur additional consultation fees, or wait until March, with no guarantee of reliability.

The lack of communication, the constant delays, and the lack of professionalism from Spire Leicester is beyond frustrating. For someone who has paid nearly Ā£1,000 for private care, this level of service is appalling. I expected a much higher standard of care, but instead, I am left feeling completely disregarded and unsupported. Waiting almost four months for MRI results is not just inconvenient—it’s unacceptable.

Very kind and caring staff. Recently an inpatient for surgery. I've never been cared for as well. Staff were very caring and kind. Mitch and team looked after me very well. I didn't want to come home.

Unfortunately we recently had a very poor experience with a psychologist appointment at this hospital. She had asked for no information ahead of the appointment in order to be prepared with background information. The consultation didn’t go particularly well and afterwards we sent an email with feedback and comments which was completely ignored with no response from the Dr which we found to be appalling considering we had paid Ā£190 for the one hour appointment, complete waste of money.

I recently reached out to Spire Leicester Hospital to book a consultation with Dr Ingrid Helbling following a referral and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The response I received from the practice manager, Claire Rossa, was unprofessional and lacked the level of care and support one would expect when seeking medical advice. The tone of the email came across as dismissive and seemed rushed and impersonal.

As a patient, I value clear, professional communication, especially when discussing personal health concerns. I would encourage the practice to ensure that their correspondence reflects the professionalism and compassion expected in healthcare services.

Traveled 1.5 hours on a Friday night to a Gynaecology appointment for my 15 year old daughter who has been passing out in pain during her periods. Quick 5 mins chat, just to be told ā€˜she has heavy periods’ and the consultant wanted to just give her drugs to control them. No interested in scanning or blood tests to get to root cause, just want to sell drugs to treat symptoms. Service just as poor as the NHS! Waste of time and money.

The Nurses....don't have a clue. Is amazing how disorganized they are and unprofessional. This comment is based on our experience in the las month. Is to long to tell our experience here. But asking a patient to stop her mental health medication with asking the Dr if it's OK or not, is wrong imprudent and put the patient at risk of relapse. After the operation, my daught had an infection and when I call them, the nurse lied about not accepting patients because of an electric issue. I spoke later with the head nurse and it wasn't true what the other nurse said. And there is more. Super Disorganized and neglectful.
