Had an operation recently and was very impressed with customer service starting from receptionists who were very friendly & all the people involved during and after the surgery, everyone being so attentive and helpful. Wanted so say a big thank you to the nurse Jan, who looked after me during the day, and to Simon who was very patient with me & helped me to get up& about showing all the physio exercises during initial recovery stage.

The professionalism and Empathy of this man never ceases to impress me. He is highly personable, kind and totally committed to resolving the medical issues in hand. Richard Sheridan has been the most kind hearted person we know and has been responsible for both my daughters and my medical needs and we cannot speak highly enough of him.

I had a foot surgery and Mr Cullen patiently explained what would happen and why.

He visited me after surgery and gave considered advice on post operative care.

Jessica was an excellent nurse, professional and with great humour (needed as I had my partner and aunt in attendance)

Ram was very attentive, asking and supplying about liquids and food and taking the time to engage with us.

I was nervous and Shannon helped make the process less scary.

All in all, given that I almost chickened out, everyone that I met from the physio Simon to the porter made it pleasurable. I'll be discharged soon and so my partner, daughter and aunt have a lot to live up to!!!

I had a procedure at the hospital. Was made to feel very comfortable. I could not fault my experience across the board. My surgeon. Admin staff nursing staff. The food. Well kept tidy rooms. Absolutely superb would recommend

I had a small operation at Spire Bushey done under general anaesthetic. The entire process was very easy and went smoothly.
From checking in at the front desk, early morning, and throughout the day, the staff were very attentive.
Nurse Grace was an absolute angel and she deserves all the credit, as she made my stay very comfortable and pleasant at all times.
The surgeon and anaesthetist both saw me before the procedure and I was confident with them.
However nurse Jane, in the recovery room, does need to work on her bed side manners as she was very rude and not pleasant when waking up from general anaesthetic. I was in a lot of pain and I would think that somebody Iike her in her position would be more compassionate and more understanding in that situation and be more empathetic . She was very rude and not kind and spoke rudely to me, I did not appreciate her tone and mannerism.
I would have given 5 stars if it was not for nurse Janes experience!

I had the pleasure of being seen by Nurse Margareta at the Spire Diagnosis Centre for my pre-op tests, and I cannot praise her highly enough. From the moment we met, she was incredibly attentive, friendly, and reassuring. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt informed and supported.

What truly stood out was her ability to put me at ease—something that meant the world to me as I’d been feeling quite anxious about my upcoming procedure. Her calm, kind presence made all the difference and helped turn a stressful experience into something far more manageable.

We need more Margaretas in this world—compassionate professionals who truly care and go the extra mile. Thank you, Margareta, for making such a positive impact on my visit!

On 16th Dec.2024 I had total hip replacement surgery. I still cannot thank my Orthopaedic Consultant, Tim Waters enough for his amazing work, professionalism and kindness from the outset. Also, Reeny Mathews, as a very competent, calm and reassuring Secretary to Mr Waters - a lovely lady. The Physiotherapy staff and nurses have also been amazing and set me well on the way to recovery and back to my work I love.
I continue to make great progress and feel so lucky to have received such wonderful treatment. The medical profession is lucky to have such a team! Tim Waters came highly recommended and throughout the process continues to be praised by many of his colleagues and rightly so. His decisiveness and honesty played a major part in my decision to go ahead and I am so glad I did!

I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Waters and all the Spire Bushey Hospital team to family, friends and colleagues.

Priti the nurse who did my bloods and ECG was absolutely amazing! She put me at complete ease and mad me feel very special! She certainly can take blood without any discomfort at all and no bruising to be seen . Thank you Priti I would come back to you anytime .🙏🏻💕
