I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Spinney Hill Medical Centre. Over the past few days, I have had to chase multiple times for a simple request, with no response or follow-through from the practice. The entire process has been disorganised, stressful, and has exacerbated my mental health condition.

Despite reaching out several times and highlighting the impact this has had on my well-being, I have not received any timely or adequate support. I find it unacceptable that a healthcare provider can be so neglectful, especially when the patient’s needs are clearly outlined in their care plan.

The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for patient care has left me feeling ignored and helpless. This is not the level of service I would expect from an NHS practice.

This GP is definitely the worst I’ve ever used over the years. The receptionist have no sense of humanity, or customer service. Call at 8am on the dot, book a callback to book an appointment, they don’t call for nearly 2 hours and there’s no appointments. 2 days in a row. How do they expect you to get an appointment?

They speak like they’re on the phone at home in whatever language they want and when you respond in English they shout. Geeta, please just leave and do everyone a favour. You have no care or compassion. I doubt you have any skills other than picking up a phone and saying no appointments.

I’m so glad to leave this surgery. Do yourself a favour and leave too, you’ll thank yourself and wish you did it before.

The receptionists and call handler staff are an absolute joke at this Practice. You wait on the phone for two hours from 8am to be told they can't give you and appointment, they don't have a clue what they're doing and need to be upgraded.

It's beyond a joke how this practice operates.

I am extremely frustrated with the service at Spinney Hill Medical Centre. I will not even give 1 star. For the past three days, I have been trying to book an appointment with a doctor, but despite waiting in the queue for hours each day, I have been unable to secure one. The lack of efficiency and organization in the appointment scheduling process is unacceptable. This has caused me significant inconvenience and stress. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to improve their service and ensure patients can get the care they need in a timely manner.

One of the worst GPs to exist. I’d rather wait those 5 hours in A&E than go here. They have an average call wait time for 1 hour, take it or leave it. What a joke. It exists just to exist now, doctors are great here but the receptionists and their systems are the worst.

Darshana is useless. The worse service provided and we requested to sign her death certificate which Darshana clearly did not take care of properly at all and delayed it so much that we couldn’t bury my Grandma and fullfil her last wishes because of how lazy they are.

The whole GP is useless. The GP should be shut down.

Absolutely Disgusted with there services !!
There communication is terrible and the staff have no consideration!!! It’s been 2 months that I dropped off a medical certificate to be signed. Then one month later I’m told you have to pay £70.00 as it is private and it is not covered under NHS .. they fail to tell you it takes another 28 days after you pay the fee to get a signed certificate!!
Totally frustrated with this clinic .
Can’t wait for Doncaster Rd surgery to reopen!!

Appalled by the horrendous waiting times to get through to someone on the phone. i waited over an hour and gave up. The last thing you want to be doing when you are ill. Service and call handling seriously needs to be looked into. Called again today and after 39mins to only be directed to the answering machine saying this voicemail box is full and cut off. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE you are dealing with peoples health and wellbeing! NHS England needs to come and externally audit this practice.
