My sessions with Jake have been really beneficial in tackling my knee issues, with the high-tech equipment helping to relieve discomfort and also with Jake helping me to understand the underlying cause and what I can do to work on it. He is both professional and friendly, and it has been especially useful to be able to attend sessions at either the Peterborough or Stamford clinic. After experiencing pain behind my knee, I decided to visit Showler Physiotherapy in Stamford to diagnose the source of pain. Within 10 minutes of initial diagnosis, Jake had identified the issue and quickly set about a treatment plan to sort my issue out.

Throughout the whole process Jake was very understanding and listened to any concerns I had. After three sessions of treatment, I can safely say that this has worked wonders and I am now pain free.

After having been in pain for over 6 months and in the suggestion of an NHS physiotherapist, I contacted a number of private physiotherapists in Stamford about shockwave therapy for my heelspur. None of them were able to provide that particular treatment but Jake at Showler explained they regularly treat similar conditions successfully and he suggested electrotherapy, ultrasound and other treatments to help speed up recovery.

After the initial consultation I received treatments by Jake for a couple of months, initially weekly then every other week, with great success. The pain is virtually gone and slowly but surely I have been able to start running again. I received a knowledgeable and very professional service and can wholeheartedly recommend Showler Physiotherapy.

I have been visiting Jake, at his Stamford practice, for a gardening shoulder injury that was, at its worst, preventing me from sleeping. Jake quickly diagnosed that it was a muscular issue and used a combination of machine and hands on therapy to treat the issue, along with exercises to do at home to retrain the muscles. I am now fully recovered.

Saw Jake due to a flare-up of ongoing lower back pain that I had convinced myself was structurally related but after his assessment and ongoing assigned programme I have been blown away by the huge improvements I've seen. Very friendly yet professional, Jake made me feel heard and was able to hold me accountable to the required exercises that would support not only my recovery, but my ongoing back health.
