Managed to get an emergency copper coil fitted today (I had called to enquire with the hospital the previous day), the lady at the reception was lovely and welcoming (which really helped because I'm the super anxious type-and was a little embrassed about needing emergency contraception). The appointment happened perfectly on time, and the doctor and nurse who fitted the coil were amazingly reassuring, kind and professional throughout. I want to say a huge thanks to all the lovely people who helped me today.

I was super worried the night before - turns out the most stressful part of my day was my bus being late.

Called at 9AM but the phones were off so I called at half past and finally got through only to be put on hold then my mobile ran out of credit so not very good.
