This is a very busy surgery and they have improved a lot since the beginning of COVID. I had problems getting an appointment a few years ago and eventually wrote to the surgery to mention this and to query why? Soon after the clinic introduced the 'sit and wait' option which is great for urgent cases and all in all the staff have been very helpful. I am grateful these days.

I have been registered at Seaside Medical Centre for nearly 10 years now, and want to say how happy I have been with the service they provide. I feel very well taken care of by the doctors and nurses there, they are all very knowledgeable and good at listening to the issues you are bringing to them. The staff at reception and in the back office are always very thoughtful and helpful. Of course, nothing is ever perfect, for example booking appointments can be difficult. However, I don't find Seaside to be any worse than most GP surgeries in these modern times, with lots of people to deal with and limited resources. I do really appreciate the online Engage Consult system, and also the ability to press a button when in the phone queue and getting a call back without losing your place in the queue. The surgery itself is well-kept and orderly, a peaceful place to wait for your appointment.

People often slate GPs, but today I had a great experience with Seaside Medical Centre. Rang at 08:30, got an appointment for 10:30 the same day, and the blood test now booked in for 2 weeks time. Dr Brierley was professional and friendly, and the receptionist was lovely. Keep doing a great job 🙂

We are new patients..my son and myself..we have not been disappointed in anyway with this surgery. From reception to dr everyone was professional and.caring such a change..
Unfortunately there is no way to cancel appointments so as we found ourselves in eastbourne general when we should have been giving blood at 11 and this can not be cancelled online

My husband received an email from the surgery regarding a free advice health coach, 10 - 12pm today. But the email didn't arrived until 19.39pm. I think it arrived way too late. Shame!

Most of the staff at Seaside Medical Center are very kind and lovely people, and I want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for all that you do. However, there is one young woman in the office whose attitude is disappointing. She seems uninterested in helping and doesn’t communicate well during my visits

Three times this week I have received text reminders for appointments that I haven't booked and therefore know nothing about. Each time I ring the surgery, this morning was by far the worse experience, the receptionist couldn't tell me what the appointment was for!! As I work full time, constantly ringing the surgery to correct their mistakes is extremely time consuming, why do you assume everybody is available to ring at 8.30am, why do you not cater for patients who are at work at that time? Also the surgery does not have an email address, you are forced to write a LETTER, another time consuming task. This once well run surgery has declined very badly and continues to do so. You have my mobile, I would like the practice manager to contact me to discuss. Thank you.

A disgusting, lying, and unprofessional GP surgery that has misdiagnosed and left my mother to suffer alone. Doctor refusing to see my mother in person and not apologising for misdiagnosing my mother with a B12 deficiency when in reality, she had pneumonia which is only getting worse. Told us over the phone that an ambulance had been arranged to take my mother to hospital but the ambulance never came. Absolutely disgusting treatment and very dangerous GP surgery. If you can register with a different GP, I strongly recommend you do so. You will never been seen by a doctor in person here. There was also a respiratory nurse who changed my mother's prescription for COPD and asthma to a drug that has no steroid in it. It was basically a placebo. The level of care at Seaside is non existent. Avoid at all costs.
