Had an emergency appointment here on Friday made for me by NHS dental service as unable to see my own dentist due to mum being in hospital. I had a loose tooth that was very painful and the dentist extracted it for me very quickly. Very nice efficient friendly practice. Thank you!

THE most amazing dentist. From getting my first appointment to receiving treatment. The receptionists were extremely helpful and Mr Nekoei was the most gentle, kind and informative dentist I’ve ever met. Didn’t even feel the injection for my treatment. I would 💯 recommend this practice

Had an emergency appointment for 1 year old. Unfortunately the dentist had no bed side manner and was extremely rude and dismissive. If given the choice I would not use this dental practice again. My 1 year old was very up set and uncontrollably crying however no understanding nor empathy for my baby was given. Very up setting.

I had my first appointment with the lovely dentist Mandy the other day. She was great, she introduced herself and talked through everything that she was doing and gave me advice on dental hygiene and spotted the problem I have with my jaw. Her expertise was very apparent. Thank you for a good experience as well as for the helpful and friendly reception staff and dental nurse too.

I was given an appointment here through the dental help desk as an emergency.

Dr Sebastian Swanepol (I believe this is his name) what an amazing dentist, for years I have been anxious about the dentist and my gag reflex is unbearable where they normally can’t complete any work without hospital intervention.

Well today Dr Sebastian and his kind nurse managed an extraction of a back tooth, with patience and small talk to keep me distracted alone with useful techniques to take my mind off of it.

Extremely professional and now pain free finally! Thankyou

After struggling to find an NHS dentist i came across Seaside Dental. The team are so friendly, welcoming and professional. I have a long term lung condition and needed treatment urgently to be able to start a new drug. The team went above and beyond to make everything possible. First class, detailed and clear guidance on treatment and post treatment care. Efficient and friendly throughout practice. My Dentist Wen Tsai and her dental nurse assistant are very friendly and personable. My treatment was excellent, and I should know from having had extensive treatment over the years, both private and NHS. This is the best yet.

I went for the first time in 2 years for a check up, first visit to this dentist as my other one had closed down. I am extremely fearful of dentists hence the 2 years! I went to a dental hygienist at another dentists about a month ago who spent 40 minutes on a scale (no polish) and then told me I have bone loss and need X-rays immediately and tried to pressure me into an emergency appointment with their dentist. Amazingly, and I thought if a 100 reasons not to go, I turned up for my morning appointment today at Seaside Dental Practice to see the main dentist.

I explained after a short wait for my appointment that I was fearful of this appointment and the treated me calmly and I felt completely at ease. Two X-rays were done showing a couple of gums were slightly inflamed so the dentist recommended flossing daily with interdental brushes dipped in mouthwash. He asked me why were my teeth so stained and go I smile? I replied no. I then said that after my other appointment at a different practice that I had been going mad with corsodyl mouthwash to which he explained that it is only for short term use and that is why my teeth are so stained. I asked if I could get them cleaned and he said I could book an appointment with their hygienist which I did! So I went from thinking I’m going to lose my teeth to them being fine in one session with the guy:)

The hygienist is £49 compared to the £39 experience that scared me to death at another practice so I asked to book up at reception. The receptionist asked for a £20 deposit which I paid, no problem.

I have a friend that is a dentist in another part of the country and I know that he is struggling to take on new NHS clients due to the cuts in the NHS and even to perform necessary works for existing NHS clients without them having to pay. It is a sad state of affairs and unfortunately he has really had to tighten the reigns with regards to people missing appointments etc which was highlighted in a couple of reviews I read before my appointment. Just FYI.

I’d recommended this practice and am pleased I have found a new dentists. As I am a little bit older now I feel it’s time to make some more of an effort with my teeth and gums, and feel that I will get the support from Seaside.
