The staff here are brilliant, and I've been treated really well and also managed to get appointments (kind of) promptly. The only issue I have is trying to get hold of my doctor, you need to use the triage system, yet within an hour and half of opening you have a message that says (we are full at capacity). I don't even need an instant answer, or an appointment, I just need to give some feedback, but you'll spend days just to try and message them and they won't deal with it as an admin query. It's very frustrating, they should have a system that allows for non urgent contact (like my last GP had, which was much smaller than this one)

Edit: tried again today and within 40 minutes they show "at capacity" AGAIN. It's frustrating when you don't even need an appointment and just need to send a message to your doctor who has you under investigation 🤦🏼

It is unacceptable that the intercom does not work for Deaf or Hard of Hearing people who cannot hear their names being called. I have been waiting for an hour without any updates, and it is very frustrating! The receptionist drew the smile but it is not enough. This situation needs to be addressed.

Fuming doesn't actually sum it up enough.
I booked my appointment for the 4th Dec. Seaford MADical practice then changed it to the 5th. I had to jiggle my work around. I was on an appointment in Handcross. The appointment was booked on 5th due to my original doctors appointment on the 4th.
I had to drive back to Seaford to make my appointment for 2.50pm.
I arrived at the practice at 2.45 but there were no parking spaces. By the time I managed to park and get into the practice it was 2.55. I sat in the waiting room until 2.58 and then thought I should ask reception if I had been called already. She looked into it. She said you were called at 2.49, 2.52 and 2.55. She then told me that i was listed as did not attend and the rule was after 3 calls it places you as not attending. The waiting room was empty and she was not going to help and said I had to make another appointment. I thought she was joking.

The first call was before my appointment time!!! She said she knew there were real issues parking but offered no leeway.

If there were people waiting i could perhaps understand a bit but there was no one.

Ridiculous jobsworths and if the first call was made at 2.50 I would have been sat there for the third call.

Try to make an appointment to see the GP ? Thats another joke but not a funny one!

Since moving to Seaford nearly 2 years ago, my experience from the team at the Seaford Medical Practice has been superb from the initial registering as a patient to appointments. I see negative reviews on fb, however I personally, being a 54 menopausal lady, have received brilliant service at all times. I've had a health scare which they acted upon super fast and I've never had to wait too long for an appointment or telephone call. I would highly recommend this practice. My partner who is from Seaford, was registered elsewhere, however when he witnessed the excellent service I was receiving, he soon moved to the practice too.

Rang the surgery last week as wanted to book an appointment, was told i had to phone triage & i couldn't be seen before i go on holiday. I'm expected to wait until end of August. What happened to making an appointment & seeing a doctor more or less straight away. The system is a joke & appalling. Now i have to suffer with a bad back until then

The system is now designed to keep patients from getting help. The triage service is surely the most ill conceived system yet, making it especially difficult for elderly and disadvantaged people to access care. This is digital exclusion of some of the most vulnerable.
I tried the 'compliments and complaints ' section of their website, but it seems to have been taken down. I guess that's one way of dealing with dissatisfaction.....
