I was seen by a doctor immediately- triaged as not at severe risk so parked on a trolley for five hours. Totally appropriate because there was a constant flow of more urgent patients- and a kind nurse checked on me every 20 minutes. Considering the pressure I think they were superb!! ?

I would like to thank the staff at this hospital. Was on holidays from Australia and my wife fell ill, needed treatment urgently and attended in the middle of the night, the staff were very understanding and took into consideration that we were not familiar with the UK health system, help my wife get help and medicine. Amazing service today in spite of Drs strike. Seen within 2 1/2 hours, x rayed, diagnosed, fractured elbow! But Thanku for your help and expertise ?
