Exceptional Care and Highly Qualified Doctors

I have been a patient at Sai Medical Centre for six years, and my experience has been consistently positive. The doctors here are highly qualified, kind, and truly dedicated to providing the best possible care. The staff is professional, and despite the challenges of a busy practice, they always strive to help patients as efficiently as possible.

I understand that some people leave negative reviews based on a single experience, but I believe it’s important to recognize the commitment and expertise of the team. During my visits, I have witnessed patients being rude to the staff, yet they always handle situations with patience and professionalism.

For anyone who has had a difficult experience, I strongly recommend speaking with the practice manager. She is incredibly thoughtful and always takes the best approach to resolve any concerns. Open communication can make a big difference, and the team is always willing to help.

Overall, Sai Medical Centre has provided me with excellent care for many years, and I highly recommend their services.

I’ve been registered with the Sai Medical Centre for a while now. I have a terrible case of health anxiety as well as other issues such as PCOS and IBS, which can lead to be having rather unpleasant if benign symptoms. Even so, when I distressed they will always go out of their way to reassure me, and will order tests to make sure that nothing abnormal is going on. In short, I feel like I’m taken seriously. While I agree with some of the reviews that say the reception staff could use some more training (never mind stress relief!) I find most of them are as helpful and polite as possible. Moreover, once you’re in the room with the doctor, ACP or nurse, the service is good. Obviously, if you need to speak to someone urgently, call at 8am. There will be a long wait, but you will usually get an appointment for that day. Otherwise, they’re good at getting you in within 1 week — very rarely have I had to wait more than 10 days. Overall, I’m satisfied with the service from Sai.

Diabolical service.
Rude dismissive reception staff without fail 99.9% of the ladies here have a clear aim to get you OFF the phone ASAP without even letting you finish a sentence, interrupting with the “call at 8 am” line they seem so desperate to say. Ridiculous wait time for an appointment that has been deemed an emergency by the hospital that required me to go back to my GP to get things moving, but can’t get an appointment.
You literally should not be rude to people that are calling YOU because they are worried about their health? Go and work in a warehouse without public interaction if you lack basic empathy and patience. Have used their service for 5-6 years and has never changed.

Been calling the surgery at 8am for the past two days only to reach the front of the queue to be told the days consultion numbers has been reached (21people apparently),after hanging onto the fone for an hour. This is way below expected standards and way to treat people.
The staff member I spoke was very condescending, non professional by a stretch.

You can call at 8am and get a same day appt either by phone or at the surgery. I have to call alot for my elderly mum and the Reception staff are the best they are so helpful and efficient. I called yesterday afternoon for extra medicine to be put on mums prescription and the Receptionist put the request in and it's collectable today. I call that excellent service without having to speak to the Doctor. If you were the Receptionist that I spoke to I just want to say thank you.

Honestly I am devastated what world we have come to. I have now been told after all day waiting that the “Doctor” has phoned me and left me a voicemail to reschedule an appointment for another day. This is 2nd time happening to me. I have checked my phone number with them after last time, it was correct. But they have blamed my network as a fault. Let me tell you this I am sure EE has great network and connection at my own home while I sat waiting for the call. Second of all if none of your patients complained you would not have 2 star rating on google reviews. Never ever you get seen by the doctor itself, only phone appointments. It’s like yes I will see your lungs through your phone. Or if not you advise us to go to A&E I personally do not understand why we need to go to A&E straight away, if we aim to seek medical help from a doctor or if it is something more serious to get an appointment to see specialist. Nobody nor GP service that goes under NHS be pushing their patience to go to Emergency which is already overwhelmed enough if you cannot take upon that many patients. Maybe you should reconsider your staffing and priorities correctly, also data you have got. Do not blame network for your staff errors. Nobody has called me nor anyone has left me a voicemail. Never ever I will go near this disgraceful “Medical” centre. Cannot believe you even are classified under NHS. The lady on the phone is fine I have no problems she is doing her job. But overall systemic wise you need sorting out asap.

This GP is the worst gp I ever had to deal with. They will get your results and they wont even explain what they are or what to do next.
The Drs tells me to read it online myself as shes not an expert… it’s pathetic, horrible place that made my health worst. It’s shocking!

Honestly just avoid register elsewhere. Receptionists are diabolical and as soon as you question them about why you can't be seen they claim your rude. Especially the newer younger receptionist how she is still in that position is beyond me awful telephone manner or people skills even when you go to check in she takes her time to acknowledge you. Deserves 0 stars.
