Great friendly atmosphere within the pharmacy, I was welcomed as soon as I entered. I didn't need to wait very long for my medication as the dispenser was very efficient and provided me with helpful advise. Overall staff are very amiable and attentive. Been here several times before for a range of needs and always had a a pleasant experience. Thank you.. keep it up!

Attended this pharmacy for a flu jab which l had booked weeks before to be told all appointments had been cancelled. I had no notification of this at all. Staff curt and very unhelpful.

As others have also pointed out they are are poor at fulfilling prescriptions. They always ask if I have received a text, but they never send them. On several occasions I have been asked to go back another day although they have had the prescription from the doctor for 5 days.

Very poor service.

Service is generally nice and speedy. Usually have no issue picking up my prescription, especially because if you have your number on file with them they'll send you a text when it's ready to pick up, and if they don't stock your medicine they'll give you a paper one for a different pharmacist. They offer a good range of OTC products too. Staff are friendly.

I appreciate that staff are very busy but 3 members of staff totally ignoring a fellow customer who just wanted to pay for something is taking the biscuit. A simple "somebody will be with you shortly" wouldn't have gone amiss. The customer is definitely not king here - more like the dog's dinner. It's bad enough being ill but I feel much worse after visiting this pharmacy. Such a shame - a smile can go a long way.

I went into this pharmacy last week my son was feeling unwell and was unable to get a Dr’s appointment I came across a member of stuff who recommended something over the counter and bless he won’t need to see a Dr after all.
My experience Iv had in this pharmacy has always been amazing lovely stuff friendly always smiling and never had a problem with my prescription.
Thank you to all the NHS workers working through this pandemic especially with short stuff and putting us first.

Today I went to Rowlands Pharmacy in ivy close off Holloway and I had a terrible experience. Very unhelpful staff. I went to collect some antibiotics for myself (my doctor had emailed a prescription to the pharmacy) but the Pharmacist would not give this to me as he said he didn't have the prescription in the system. I showed the electronic prescription on my phone which states clearly the pharmacy address where this was sent but he was short and he didn't bother to check his email. I called my doctor back (I was on hold for about 20 minutes as doctors are busy those days! ) and finally I could talk to him. He told me that the prescription was definitely sent yesterday to the pharmacy in ivy close. I came back to the pharmacy and told them to check their email but a very unprofessional lady told me that she didn't have access to the pharmacy email address (she said that only one of her colleague had access to this but she was out of work). She wrote down another email address and told me to ask my doctor to send the prescription to this. How is it possible that a Pharmacist does not have access to the official pharmacy email address? I asked her to please contact her colleague so she could forward to her my prescription but she was unhelpful and insensitive and told me that she would not call her colleague but suggested me to call 111 for an emergency prescription. So I had to leave the pharmacy again, call back the doctor, wait long to talk to him and finally tell him to resend the prescription to a different email address (the one the Pharmacist could access). Very stressful experience and a complete waste of time. When I finally came back to the pharmacy they made me wait long and they didn't ask if I was allergic or advise me on how to take the antibiotics. They could have accepted the electronic prescription on my phone (as many other pharmacists do) or be able to check their email but they caused me a stressful morning. Really negative experience. Do not go there.

Always really lovely, especially with my children. I've gone in there for medical advice and they've been very helpful and knowledgeable.

I had some problems with a prescription coming through from the doctor and they helped resolve it.

We come here every year for our flu shots too. No appointment needed and, depending on when you go, usually no queue!

Rowlands really need to be taken away from being the Doctors pharmacy next door, GP turn around for a prescription is 72 hours, but they are actually quicker than that, once it hits the pharmacy it's 7 days - that is confirmed by the Pharmacy. So all in all its 9 days to get your prescription because they order stuff in, in "real time" as they dont have the storage. My health has been all over the place the past few months because I have to keep going days without my tablets then restart them. It's a joke. I have raised this to the local MP and watchdog and I will raise it again.
