This GP surgery is not the nearest one to my house BUT we registered here anyway because they're so good!
You hear horror stories of GP surgeries etc giving appointments in X weeks time for emergencies but this surgery isn't one of them: even though they're busy they're great at prioritising (especially if you have a sick child).
Dr Chauhan is lovely and so wise 🙂 Dr Abdullah and Dr Nair are also excellent.
Dr Mendelsohn has also been very helpful.
Another nice thing is they're never judgemental when I feel like my worries and questions are silly they're always kind and gracious 🙂

I've been using this doctors for 30 years and I will continue to do so. The entire team receptionists, nurses and doctors are all amazing. They make the effort to make sure checks are completed thoroughly and prescribe medication as needed. They really are the best here, I'm very happy and grateful of the level of care I have received here over the years

First visit here and a wonderful experience it was too, all staff were superb and professional. The centre was extremely clean and tidy and easy to get around. My treatment was excellent with both Dr and nurse friendly and respectful.

Today, I was seen by Dr Abdullah Lashrf at River Brook Medical Centre. He was extremely professional, thorough in his examination, and made me feel well cared for. Dr Lashrf is undoubtedly one of the best doctors at this practice. A great selection by Senior GP Dr Chauhan. Well done to the team!

Riverbrook has always been pleasant and really listened to concerns of patients to get to the root cause of an issue. My only issue is that no matter how quickly I try to call, how often I try to call, I can never get through. My appointment today was cancelled and I was told to call to rearrange, I've called all morning with no response. I've tried calling just recently and the phone lines are now closed. Booking an appointment is near impossible and the only concrete solution is to head down there as soon as they open. This isn't always an option.
The last time I mentioned to the receptionist that I tried calling and couldn't get through, I could see it was something that bothered her and has been a reoccurring problem. "Well it's busy and the lines are ringing off the hook", without being rude, the reception area was silent and no one was even touching a phone (let alone were they ringing). If calling and booking an appointment was an actual possibility, it would make visiting the GP much easier especially as someone who avoids going DUE to how complicated it is to get an appointment.

Excellent GP surgery. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Have recently had Dr Abdullah for a number of appointments and he is an exceptionally competent, caring and family-oriented doctor. Would recommend.

A catalogue of mistakes around an ongoing medication, with nursing staff and pharmacist taking little or no responsibility for their poor note keeping, lack of reference to historical issues and resulting poor prescribing. Defensive and combative when challenged, often feeling like institutionalised bullying. I often felt unheard during consultation, sadly by the specialist nursing staff. Particularly disappointing that this came from other women who seem to have issues with their own internalised sexism, an inability to empathise and lack of professionalism. Change of surgery has provided a sharp contrast and highlighted how dreadful my experience was.
