Right at Home Mid Hampshire

I have worked at Right at home Mid Hampshire for a little over 3 years after spending the whole of my career in the Health and Social Care industry. From the very beginning my onboarding and induction was robust and inclusive. I have worked with some amazing teams during my career and this is by fer the most cohesive, where the team share knowledge and skills and work together to ensure that the people we support have the best quality care that is possible. in recent months, the service has been making sure that the people they support have the opportunity to get out and about and meets others on the community. this has included lunch clubs, outing to have an Ice Cream and going to a café for a coffee and some cake. this has been a great success and I am proud to be included in the events, planning and involving people that would otherwise might attended.

Right at Home have consistently given excellent care to both of my parents. The staff are caring, considerate and as my father likes to say, like part of the family. I chose them for the outstanding CQC rating and can say without doubt, they truly deserve it. Thank you for all that you continue to do for our family, it is greatly appreciated!

I joined Right at Home Mid Hampshire over 3 years ago. Best thing I ever did. This job brings me joy and I love to see the clients happy. I adore my colleagues and the clients I work with. Everyone in the office is very helpful and welcoming. We are always looked after. If you’re looking for a rewarding job, this is the one for you. There is never a dull day with Right at Home.

We were recommended to RAH after my father was hospitalised and it became evident that there were cognitive issues with both parents. RAH immediately understood and identified appropriate care needs and they have subsequently offered additional help where they could see that our family sometimes struggled, due to other commitments. We have never been pressurised by RAH and they have never suggested anything more than is absolutely necessary, but we are so grateful where they have identified those additional needs and suggested thought-through solutions. The carers themselves have been magnificent on every level, resulting in my parents remaining happy, settled and living independently in their own home. At the outset this was an unprecedented and stressful time for us, but that was quickly eased through a relationship of absolute trust. In summary, we cannot thank RAH enough for their support and professionalism.

Where do I start... Right at Home looked after my palliative grandad back in 2018, their compassion and pure kindness inspired me to become a caregiver along with my mum. I did not want to become any old carer, I wanted to work for the incredible company that showed the tender care he needed. I started shortly after in 2019, my aim to be as good as, if not better than the wonderful caregivers who assisted my grandad when he needed care the most. I was a caregiver for 2 years, before working my way up to the office and what an absolute pleasure it has been! I cannot believe they have put up with me for so long! :)

I have really enjoyed working for right at home. Very welcoming and supportive company. I have had the chance to undertake numerous training oppurtunities and have felt supportive through my journey working as a carer.
