Revive Health Chelmsford

Made an urgent appointment to see Katy at Revive after getting a hamstring strain a few days before going to France to play in a football tournament. Katy treated my injury and did such an excellent job that I was able to play when I was sure I wasn't going to be able too. I have subsequently signed up for a number of sessions to ensure my fitness continues. I cannot recommend Katy and Revive highly enough.

Have been going to Revive Health for over 2 years now and the service I’ve received has been superb. I initially went for a long term injury/pain that I hadn’t been able to get rid of and they really helped get to get the root cause of the problem and am grateful to say fixed the problem. I have continued to see them for regular sports physio and massages, which have really helped me stay injury free despite training 4-5 a week. Aside from the treatment I’ve received, Ali’s knowledge of sports (training, performing, nutrition etc) has been invaluable to me, as I regularly discuss with him what goals and events I'm working towards. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service and high level of expertise. Ali and CJ have provided treatment to me for several sport related injuries resulting in full recovery and also provide excellent sports massage for maintenance and injury prevention. I can highly recommend them.

I think the most important thing about physios is them giving you confidence they know what they're talking about. CJ does this in spades. And it's a sensible approach to rehabilitation. Not necessarily "don't do anything for weeks" but "trust your body". Support and "teamwork" approach to getting over your injury. Booking system is superb.

I am a retired nurse so have a greater degree of scientific knowledge than the general public. I had ultrasound and massage from Katy for my lateral knee pain. This was pleasant but had no long-term effect. As regards Zone therapy I think this is mumbo-jumbo and had no effect.

Great team—very knowledgeable and understanding. I had seen multiple physiotherapists before, but felt I wasn't making progress. After seeing Ali, CJ and Katy, I'm back to running and improving weekly.

I've been using Revive Health in my preparation for the London Marathon 2024. Both CJ and Ali are experts in their field and have done an incredible job helping me get Marathon ready over the past 6 months. I've had a few training niggles in preparation for the marathon, even the week before I had an issue with my calf and Ali was able to resolve the problem but also put my mind at ease and ready for the day. Thanks for all your help and support, I would highly recommend Revive Health if you are looking for a Physical therapist, sports masseuse, their expertise are second to none with a friendly service. 100% recommend

I have suffered with lower back/upper hip issues for some time and as my volume ramped up this year, discomfort turned into pain, which stopped me training altogether. CJ & Ali noticed an issue with my hip alignment and the fix would not be simple - frequent visits help to have the hips sitting in the correct place and thus has allowed me to revert back to neutral inserts in my running shoes and cycling cleats. Before it was suggested 1 leg might be longer than the other but it seems all along the issues were my hips. In terms of reducing the pain, I received ‘Zone’ treatment - I’ll be honest at first I was slightly sceptical as the process works on the spine, flushing out various systems allowing my body to start to heal itself. But as the sessions ticked by, the results were incredible, and the pain all but vanished. I’m extremely grateful for the way CJ & Ali have fixed my body and educated me on how to take better care of it myself. Thank you both for your care and incredible knowledge.
