Unfortunately they’ve really dropped the ball in the past 12 months. Extremely hard to get an appointment, even when replying to a letter explicitly asking me to call and make one before receiving another prescription - had an awful experience with a locus doctor who left me never wanting to visit an NHS GP again for some time.

They also got rid of their mental health nurse (maternity leave but decided not to bring in a replacement or renew her contract) which, given the training of GPs in that area, seemed very short sighted as she was the best person I saw there by a long way

Terrible surgery. If I could give them a "0" I would. Got an appt. yesterday for semi-emergency for fear of sepsis. Doctor didn't even examine the area in question. Looked at it from her seat. I am 73 and had called in about a previous problem. Never received help so I asked this Doctor to check problem. Said she couldn't see any problem but didn't do a thorough examination and left me without an answer. PM Starmer - please fund these places better. I would hate to have to shell out £800 a month for private, family insurance. I had a friend visit from the States. She fell and broke her arm in 4 places. When she returned home, she was told that the arm had been set incorrectly and that the follow-up advice they gave her was also incorrect. She's 84. What is going on with our medical system?

A laughable excuse for a GP surgery. After having an ongoing problem with his knees for over two years (yes you read that right, two years!) and after being passed around from pillar to post and back again, my partner was seen by a specialist outside of this surgery (arranged by help for heroes on his behalf) who sent a letter of recommendation to the GP. Got a phone call two weeks ago to say a dr would call today, and “no that appointment could not be changed” even though we had another appointment somewhere else booked today, but no worries, we were happy to get a call so rearranged everything else. Forward to today, the Dr rings, and giggles down the phone saying she wants to see my partner for a face to face appointment so that she can “manage his expectations of what the NHS could do”…..sorry what?!!! I should mention the referral was just for some medication recommendations, not a visit with his royal highness or something so spectacular!
So Drs won’t see patients to discuss how they can help their patients, but will call them to say “nah, I’ve seen the letter from the specialist but I couldn’t care less”?
Incompetent, rude, ignorant, bumbling idiots the lot of them. I hope if any of them ever need NHS treatment they receive the exact same level of care that we have.

I struggle to articulate just how truly awful this practice is. I have been with them for a couple of years and the last 18(ish) months have been soul destroying. Receptionists gate keep and refuse appointments, if you can eventually get an appointment there will be no follow up. They do not action correspondence from specialists or 3rd parties and belittle patients. To say they do not care is an understatement and sadly, it seems to be the culture here.

08.05.24 we have been with Regent Street Surgery for at least 40 years and they were great. Today my husband was unwell and because he is disabled I rang the surgery and asked for a home visit. I was told to either phone 999 or wait and see if they could fit him in for a visit tomorrow. I called 999 and he is now in hospital. Barry has had a Triple A operation and a stoma created in recent months therefore needs
a bit of monitoring, none of which has been happening. Absolutely disgusted with Regent Street Surgery/Willow Tree Practice, or whatever it's name now is a total disregard for patient care.

I have been a patient at Regent Street for many years and cannot believe how their practice has deteriorated. They have joined forces with another surgery, but that only seems to have made things worse.
Weeks to wait for an appointment.
Cannot send photographs because a doctor would have to look at them which would qualify as an appointment! Ridiculous.
I have finally had enough and registered with a practice which has a doctor who seems to actually care about his patients and has taken the time and trouble to look at my photographs and actually talk to me and whose receptionists are caring and helpful. How refreshing.

Bad experience yesterday I have got pus on my side tonsils, the doctor looked at me from a meter away saying she couldn't see anything, I showed her a picture of my tonsils but she still said she couldn't see anything, don't know what to do at this point , I'm feeling very depressed now

This has been my doctor's surgery my whole life. Even through COVID-19 and long waiting times they always true to be as a helpful and considerate to their patients as they can. The reception staff have to deal with all sorts of people shouting and making a fuss at them, which is so sad and they handle it with professional. I've worked with a few different doctors, all of whom have been nice, but the nurse there named Nicola has got to be the best nurse I've ever had the pleasure of having help me. Her lovely treatment of me this morning is what prompted me to make the review!
