Had dine & stay offer but upgraded room from classic to deluxe (worth up) and added breakfast. Reception staff pleasant & professional and check in quick.|| Dined in rib room, starters were very tasty as was the rump steak, although was cooked more than he prefers. ||Service was good but let down at end when empty main course plates left too long and had to flag for bill. (Was Saturday night) ||Bar was a nice area and not too pricy. Even enjoyed a cocktail.||Didn’t use spa.||Breakfast tasty and not bad value.||Very relaxing stay with a lovely visit into Durham. Woke up to snow was lovely.

The hotel is fantastic, starting with it facilities, food but most importantly the Staff.|From the welcome on reception to concierge (Cheryl), hospitality staff, to the cleaning team, a very pleasant stay. Nothing is to much trouble for any team member to help you. All staff are well dressed, smart and attentive. Cheryl is a fantastic concierge. I stayed for business in December and returned in January and will continue to do so. The leisure facilities on site also make a working week very enjoyable.

My husband and I received a voucher for a spa break at Ramside Hall and it was amazing. The spa was super - had a lot of facilities, was well thought out and was very clean, our room felt very luxurious and dinner in the Rib Room was delicious. We had a fantastic stay and are very grateful to all the staff who made it such a memorable trip.

Just returned from our first time at Ramside, 4 of us had booked the overnight Sunday spa break package, what a brilliant value for money, we already can't wait to return.
The only negative we had was that the spa was VERY busy on Sunday and for most of the day all of the sunbeds were reserved with towels which we didn't really expect but still managed to get in all of the rooms, and Monday was alot quieter.
The spa treatments were lovely, the therapists were all really nice and the relaxation room was such a great touch for after your treatments.
We ate in the fusion restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast, both meals were delicious but especially the evening meal, great portion size, beautifully presented and SO tasty, one of the nicest meals we've had on a spa break.
We stayed in premier double rooms and the views were stunning, so peaceful.
All staff throughout our stay were great but 2 special mentions in particular for the lady on reception with blonde hair and glasses, and the lady with red hair in fusion for breakfast service (sorry we didn't catch your names) but both really made our stay, so friendly and helpful, a real credit to the team.
We can't wait to return and have already recommended to friends and family.

Hotel is really nice and very welcoming. The standard spa is okay, as the swimming pool was really cold. The upgraded spa is very nice and we loved it! The two male pool managers are very nice and went an extra step for us because it was my birthday which I really appreciated. Would defo return.

Ample free car parking. Luxurious hotel grounds & rooms. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Spa centre is attached & has a decently sized gym, which is well equipped, 25m pool, jacuzzi, steam room & sauna. Towels are provided. You type in your own 4 digit code for the lockers. I had an excellent back treatment by Jenn. Chloe on Spa reception was a real star. Very helpful, knowledgeable, calm and professional. Even when several families arrived simultaneously, she took time to make them welcome & showed them where they needed to be. All the facilities were high quality & very clean. You can walk to the Park & Ride site at Belmont & be in Durham in 10 minutes on bus PR1.

We booked a twilight spa package and then added a room booking later on. We have stayed here many a time and always have a fantastic stay! ||Our room 204 was lovely and overlooked the golf course and pond. Only downfall was the pillows on the bed were awful! So uncomfortable and very hard! And the patio door windows were really dirty. ||The spa was ok - it was spoilt a bit by how busy it was with gym members and we actually struggled to get 2 beds, also the sauna & steam rooms were extremely busy which was a bit of putting. ||Other than that we had a fabulous stay - our 2 course meal from the fusion restaurant was 5* 👌
