Not the best place I’ve stayed, and definitely not 4 star, but the staff were really helpful, I wouldn’t recommend the food or the activities I definitely didn’t like the baseball game they played, and the little red food supplement capsules 💊 where if to say weirdly strange …! The clothing they supplied was sum what loose apart from the jackets they had you wear occasionally, always to tight with very little hand movement, although on the plus side it was adults only with male and female segregation, and most of the screaming and shouting was mainly from the men …!!! I wouldn’t recommend the safe room either it’s not really clean lots of brown stains and the drains really smell and the stitching in the walls are frayed and the pillows in the wall are in the wrong place ..!!

Brilliant place. Stayed here for three and a half years, and I can tell you that there aren't any padded rooms or straight jackets. This place has everything but a cinema. Has it's own Olympic swimming pool bar with DJ called Blue jay, i think, I forgot the name with none alcohol drinks. It has its own work shop training place. That is where I learnt to do upholstery. luxury holiday

Didn't know Rampton Hosp was still in existence. My sister was there in the 70s & she saw abominable things going on there. She had ECT many times after many breakdowns. She died at 60 in Ealing Hospital, formerly St Bernard's a few years ago, a free woman, after ½ a century in various institutions. All of that just because she was labeled maladjusted at 8yrs old. 😢

Lovely comfy bed,instead of wallpaper on my walls I had thick luxurious padding which made the room feel really cosy.i even had straps on my bed so I didn't fall out how considerate!!! Excellent food however I did find half an ear in my tomato soup but was easily sorted out staff were lovely and kind locked my door behind me and looked after the key can't really fault this place I would highly recommend staying here

I was unsure if I would like it here , But after a few days, I've got to say its the best b&b I have ever stayed in , A little run down but the staff was really helpful . They made sure I was really safe , They locked my door every time so no one could rob my gear , How considerate of them . Its far better than Bupa , They have 24/7 medics on site & the vitamin tablets are the best I've ever had ,
Would recommend to my friends
You don't even have to be out by 10 am on day of leave

The staff at this hospital that treat patients with learning disabilities with total disrespect should themselves be administered with drugs/medication.. locked up in cells 24/7!!! How can they go home and sleep at night when they cause such pain and misery to other human beings? Shameful and disgraceful!!
