Went to Rainbow care as we had heard great things about them. My sister sorted an assessment for my Nana who has moderate dementia. At the assessment they met our three dogs and said they could accommodate this along with having a female carer, they were great.

First visit was a shambles. A carer turned up 20 minutes late with no apology, and she was terrified of dogs. We had to lock the dogs outside whilst the carer was with Nana which stressed her out. After this we talked to the management team and they apologised and reassured us that this wouldn't happen again. We then had a lovely carer that came round for a few weeks and started building a relationship with Nana.

We went on holiday and moved house so didn't need the care for two weeks. We were then were told that they could no longer support my Nana as they couldn't guarantee a carer that wasn't afraid of dogs. Management were aware that my sister is heavily pregnant and needed to get this sorted ASAP.

Wasted a lot of our time.

That my Nan had only just bought the day before and my Nan rang me crying because Thay had chucked out all her letters for her bills
