Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible experience we had at Quy Mill. From the moment we walked in for our initial consultation, the staff at Quy Mill were amazing. Our wedding coordinator, Emma, was with us every step of the way, guiding us through the planning process with expert advice and patience. On the big day itself, the staff was incredibly attentive. They made sure everything ran smoothly, from the ceremony to the reception, and even though there were minor issues they were solved promptly and with little stress. They went above and beyond to make sure our guests were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. ||The food was top-notch. We opted for 48h braised beef, and our guests are still raving about the meal, it was absolutely outstanding — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The venue also worked with us to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, which was a big help in making sure I, as the bride, felt included and well taken care of. They even went out of their way to make me GF breakfast pastry, which I really appreciated and enjoyed.||We're incredibly thankful for having celebrated our special day at Quy Mill, and we'll forever cherish the unforgettable memories we created!

Location is nice, but quite a bit out of town, so it's not easy getting to the town centre.
The spa facilities were nice, well-equipped gym.
The room was good, but a bit dated, with an electric radiator.
I ate in the bar area, decent selection, but I thought it was a bit pricey. Can't comment on main restaurant.
This would be a nice place to go and have a relaxing weekend.

Our pre -Christmas family gathering was brilliantly planned and organised by Rachel who couldn't have been more efficient or organised in the lead -up. We felt reassured that everything we requested was noted; all menu choices correct so it couldn't have been better.....|| The room was spacious and quiet and the meal very nice. Service was great.||Thanks again for making this such a relaxed occasion.

Visited this spa recently to use a mother's day present. We booked a treatment, which was very pleasant with lovely staff but that was really the only good thing.

The spa facilities are essentially a bland and unexciting swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna. The swimming pool was so cold I couldn't get in - estimate it was a touch below 25 degrees, so better for those who enjoy colder water. This is fine if planning to do fast swimming but not what I expect from a relaxing spa trip. The jacuzzi was warm but small and had a lot of froth from high chlorine content. I didn't use the sauna.

Seats around the pool area were few in number and 'bagged' in classic German holiday style by people barely using them. Some seats are located in a pleasant window area with a view of the little millstream though a direct view from there to the A14 does leave a bit to be desired. The seats were also extremely uncomfortable.

There was no lounge for having a hot drink or snack after using the facilities either, only a handful of plastic tables and chairs in an unwelcoming reception area.

Nothing about this experience was luxury or spa-like. I think if you plan to use this place as your regular exercise spot that would make it much more appealing but don't book if you want to relax and feel pampered.

We had our wedding here and all I can say is WOW. The staff were INCREDIBLE, professional and seriously made our day so perfect! Nothing was too much trouble, and they really made sure that we got to enjoy ourselves and not worry about a single thing. Emma in particular was AMAZING. From the moment I walked down the aisle, to coming back in the morning (on her day off!!!) to drop off a card! I would highly recommend Quy as the place for your wedding. I would also highly recommend having Emma as your coordinator because she was nothing but amazing for us! Thank you so much for everything!♥️

What a wonderful stay , staff were excellent. Special shout out to Noel at the Bar very engaging, knowledgeable and gives a good vibe..always attentive to the needs of the table . All the staff were brilliant , facilities great and a big difference from 3 years ago . Park and ride to Cambridge is about 10 mins drive away perfect. The room needs more sound proofing as we had an elephant above us.

Went as a family in 5 rooms to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I asked if they could provide a cake but they couldn’t so asked if I could take one- yes I could but it would cost £30 to do so and I would need to supply a list of all the ingredients.|The rooms were of a decent size but our carpet was filthy, the quilt cover was ripped and there was no hand soap or tissues-I had to go out and buy toiletries for the 5 rooms.|I was there 3 nights and couldn’t sleep due to the damp, musty, dirty smell permeating from the carpet around the bed.|On the second day the towels were changed but the bed wasn’t made.|The first night we had afternoon tea which I can only describe as poor. The dining room and lounges on the first night were extremely cold.|The staff were friendly and the food at dinner was good although service in the lounge for a warm drink during the day was snail pace.|The hotel is in the countryside and has potential to be a great place but needs a major overhaul. I shall not be returning.

We did not stay at this hotel but did use the spa for a spa day. I have to say it was disappointing for the price we paid (£100 per person for half day). The spa itself is very small and became crowded, the jacuzzi could not fit more than 3 people in comfortably so we were only able to use it once briefly. The pool was okay but basic. Sauna and steam room were small but did the job. The general feel of the spa is very tired. There were a few loungers around the pool area but unfortunately these were incredibly uncomfortable! So much so you could not relax on them for any more than 30 minutes really. The only positive was the treatment and staff, the massage was lovely and the therapist was friendly and professional. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful.
