This isn't my regular GP so can't give 5 but I come here to have physio with Ghaffar. He has been an excellent support for my recovery. He is caring, attentive and supportive and really makes me feel listened too. I always walk away feeling better and with a smile of my face.

The surgery is clean, accessible and has parking so coming here is convenient. There is a new male receptionist and he is good and efficient. Other times, I'm standing there, and they are having a conversation

Having previously been frustrated and bewildered by this practice and leaving a poor review I thought I would update my findings 2 years on. Things are on the up. An updated system and more online functionality have eased the utter calamity that was contacting this place. I had a positive and relatively competent pregnancy journey. While the practise itself remains a little dusty and uninviting and mistakes are still made- it’s not as shocking as it once was and I truly believe it is trying hard in this highly pressured and unhappy NHS environment. The Doctors are also confident and lovely towards screaming grumpy babies. Which is a given, but is still nice to see

I have just left this surgery after 15 years. They used to be good when I first registered - lovely GP, nurse and receptionist - they all left the practice at around the same time. Since then it has just got increasingly bad.

They don't see you as a person or treat you holistically. I understand that appointment times have to be limited so that more people can access a GP - but the passive aggressive signs on the room doors '1 appointment, 1 issue' make it clear that they don't see people, just problems.

I have had a health condition go undiagnosed for several years until I insisted on being referred to a specialist. I had presented with textbook symptoms at many appointments over several years but was told there was either nothing wrong or I was given a mis-diagnosis. This health condition has impacted my health in other ways and has caused other issues - I have gone seriously downhill health-wise in the last 5 years...not that they would know because they are sticking to phone appointments like super glue.
Last telephone appointment was yesterday and the GP even misnamed me...shocking after being a patient there for all these years!

Edit: Before leaving this surgery I also requested a referral to rheumatology due to arthritis getting worse. Dr d' Sousa said I didn't need this referral either - he was wrong again!

An MRI done in March not only showed the arthritis had got worse and that I had injured a knee requiring surgery, it also picked up a suspicious lump in my neck. After further tests I was diagnosed with cancer in July and had surgery last month.

I kept telling this doctor I felt unwell and lacking in energy - if he had bothered to see me in person, he would (possibly) have noticed the swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Instead he kept fobbing me off on the phone telling me I was just stressed.

I am exceptionally grateful to the rheumatologist for picking up the cancer, and my ENT consultant for my ongoing treatment. Thankfully it was caught early and can be cured.

I am concerned that other patients at this surgery may not be as fortunate as me. If you feel your symptoms are being dismissed, please stand your ground, ask for a second opinion and appropriate referrals.

I have left a review previously but thought after reading several of the very negative reviews today and after speaking with my GP Dr De Souza to write another equally glowing review of this practice.
Firstly. The new phone system is so much more efficient, certainly less waiting time. Excellent addition
Dr De Souza always gives a first class service, very very efficient, so many times he has been proved correct with his advise. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is by far the most efficient, friendly and empathetic GP I have come across. I think it's the general public who have become so rude and so very demanding....perhaps people should actually look at their own behaviour first.

Extremely rude receptionist who cut the call on me. She's, to be Frank absolutely awful and cruel. Not willing to help book an appointment or help with my repeat prescription. She's not fit to work in this field and help those who are feeling unwell. When asked for her name she cut the call. This is not the first time she has not helped me personally. Please escalate my complaint and help me with my heath concerns.

Been with the practice for over 15yrs very disappointed with the service. I feel let down by the practice on multiple occasions, I feel if I wasn't persistent with calling the gp my Diagnoses would have gone undetected if they just left it at blood results thank god for the 1 lady Dr who referred me to xray.
I am struggling to swallow my tablets been advised by gp to see pharmacist which the receptionist didn't believe me kept asking did the Dr say it !!
Other forms of medication are available in liquid form but they don't care about the patient needs . Extremely upset and thinking about leaving the practice.
