None of you even care to reply to any of these reviews !!! You are working in the care sector so you should care !!! I would give one 0 stars if i could. I have been trying to get an appointment for a week now for my 1year old. They keep on saying to go and book online at 8.30 which i have been trying to do but the website doesn't work. When you ring them you cant book and they saying to call 999 if its urgent. The receptionist are so heartless as well. I mean its just impossible to book . This is terrible, maybe thats why emergency department its so full because GP is sending everyone there .

My wife and I have been members of this practice for over 10 years and the service has essentially declined year on year. Certainly post-COVID the decline had been more swift and more noticeable..And the latest move to the total triage system is abysmal. I understand trying to make use of technology to negate the shortfalls in money and staff, but trying to actually get in front of a doctor now seems incredibly difficult.

As an example, my wife has been feeling ill for a while so she used the system and was told she needed blood tests. These were done fairly promptly. One of the results came back with a note to speak the doctor (a sick joke perhaps?). She used the total triage system and the response came back that a phone appointment had been booked for two weeks time! Bear in mind she is losing work time occasionally because of the issue. I also used the system on the same day and was given an appointment two days later. I rang the practice to query this and the receptionist to be fair was really nice. However the answers just didn't make sense. I asked if perhaps the doctor with whom the appointment was made was a specialist in the area that the blood tests showed, no, just a normal GP. So why two weeks, you will have been assessed and given the earliest appointment. OK so why did I get one within two days. Don't know. What can we do, fill in another form tomorrow and see. Tried today and was online at 8:30 to be told only emergency appointments today, try again tomorrow.

It's no wonder people turn up to A&E in despair at not being able to see someone.

I’ve had such bad experiences. Can’t get an appointment in person! Phone in and then they phone back two weeks later. Then the doctor phones back a month later! Ask to be phoned at a certain time as of university, they don’t respect that. Phoned while at uni then try’s to get through the call quickly. Not even answering what you had enquired about. Other places see people on the day!
The practice used to be so much better but has just gone downhill. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time. But still have no questions answered!

Although getting an appointment can be difficult, the receptionists are absolutely brilliant and lovely. They go out of their way to help you, and I'm so grateful to them. They have sorted out prescription problems and appointment issues and have always been so helpful even if it's me that has got things wrong.

The phlebotomist is also brilliant and actually has tons of experience with patients and people in previous health related work, he made me feel so safe and at ease. The GP's are great, and were so sweet to my friend who has autism and has really high anxiety, they patinently answered her questions and made her feel so safe and looked after. She even got a couple of issues resolved in one appointment, which was very kind of the GP. He was so thorough and caring.

I have had problems with mental health issues, and my named GP, Dr.Andrews has been brilliant, both in terms of sharing decisions over medications and quick referral to teritary services (which are non-existent because there are no OPD psychiatrists). They have been great with sick notes, and advice, and we share decision making here too. We both understand that getting back to work at the right time is important to making a good recovery and preventing relapse.

I have been with them for the last 4 years, and am always anxious about being denied care as I'm from a minority. There was only one occasion when I was given steriods for a physical condition that required minor surgery, and thankfully being in healthcare I knew that steroids were nonsense and could be damaging. This wasn't a GP I've ever seen again. It took me quite a while to build the courage to ask again and thankfully I had my surgery this year and my quality of life is so much better.

I've not used the new online booking system, so I can't say how well that works, but separating admin from medical assessment tasks makes a lot of sense.

First time using this online appointments system and the system has crashed.
Impossible to get a Doctors appointment, or any help. Had to wait months whilst in pain to try and get a scan and medical help, still awaiting treatment.

Can someone please explain the process of getting an appointment to me?
I asked the receptionist and it all seemed very long winded, and proved impossible.
