Making an appointment for family member, and hospital failed to do referral.
Fortunately spoken to Mandy at Princes St clinic, very helpful and was able to advise best way forward as needed appointment for Litherland as Princes St no longer provides service needed.
If only Whiston hospital had not failed to do what they should have done then time would not have been wasted.
Thank you again Mandy for your help and advice....Laurence Cleary.

To say I had been waiting on an appoitment for some time would be an understatement. I arrived before time as advised on the letter they sent me. It was a good ten minutes before the clinic actually opened but - like I said - I was acting on their advice. When the Receptionist opened the door to me - and at least two other patients - she was rude, insisting how the clinic did not open before 8.30am implying we had wasted our time turning up before then. Clearly she had made time to watch us all standing around outside. When I asked for a wheelchair (not that unusal a request for a diabled person) she told me abruptly that they didn't have one and that no clinic would provide such a service. Good start to my day. The appointent wasn't much better with the 'medical professional' having to repeat several of the tests which didn't fill me with confidence. It was a relief to get out of there and go home. I hope my G.P. doesn't refer me again to this place as I won't be attending.
